This meditation evokes the lucid dreaming process with music & theta binaural beats (which continue for almost an hour after the spoken portion ends, to continue the brain entrainment for lucid dreaming) is a long lucid dreaming guided sleep meditation to help you to lucid dream for shifting reality. In this track, you are encouraged to have pleasant dreams and to think about the dreams you would like to be lucid in and helps to practice developing a trigger for lucid dreaming and absorbing yourself in the dream, as well as helping you to practice developing autonomy within your dreams. This lucid dreaming experience also sets up an in-dream dream-changer trigger that you can learn to use to be able to transition from one dream to another, as well as helping you to be able to develop what dreams you would like to have. This lucid dreaming experience also helps you to calm an overactive mind, fall asleep fast, and prepare for deep sleep, relaxing your mind and body.

So,

Allow your eyes to close and take a few moments to allow yourself to get comfortable as you listen along to me talking in the background,

This is a lucid dreaming experience and the idea of this experience is to gently guide you from wakeful awareness,

Guiding you gently into a relaxed state of mind through to,

Guiding you through the process that you go through as you drift from wakefulness into a dreaming sleep and then to support you and help to facilitate as you drift in those dreams,

Supporting and facilitating lucid dreaming,

To give you an experience of lucid dreaming and for best results with this lucid dreaming experience,

It's best to listen to it at night time when you are able to pay this your full attention,

When you are able to allow yourself to follow along to what it is that I'm saying and at some point while following along to what it is that I'm saying,

Your mind will just wander and drift deeper inside and as you drift deeper inside your mind,

My voice can just go with you in the background and it may take the form of the wind,

It may take the form of a character in a lucid dream,

It may take any form that's comfortable for you as my voice drifts into the background,

Allowing you to just focus more of your attention on your ongoing inner experience,

There's a process of drifting asleep and there's a process of drifting into dreams and so as you listen along to me here,

Just allow yourself to get comfortable,

Take a few moments if you must to allow yourself to shift in your position,

Make sure that you're comfortable enough to not be disturbed and to be able to follow along to what it is that I'm saying and as relaxation begins to set in,

You want to make sure that you won't be disturbed,

So make sure there is nothing that will be able to distract you and resting there with your eyes closed,

You can begin to listen to my voice and follow along to what I'm saying and I don't know whether you'll drift deeper to the sound of my voice in the background or whether it'll be to the spaces between my words and so as you listen to me talking here,

You can hear my words and while you hear my words,

The first stage of drifting asleep and drifting into a lucid dream,

Into the most profound lucid dreaming experience is that your body relaxes and then as your body begins to relax,

So your mind begins to quieten and drift and relax,

Focusing more awareness from external awareness and awareness of thoughts and random ideas passing in the mind from the daytime through to awareness that's more inner focused on your feelings,

On drifting into reveries,

Drifting into a daydream drifting into visualizations and so as you follow along,

Just have a sense of the sensations around the top of your head,

Have a sense of what your head feels like resting where it is is your head resting on a soft pillow or is your head resting on something else,

Just have a sense of what that feels like,

Of whether you can be aware of the weight of your head resting there perhaps you can be aware of the hair on your head,

Or maybe you're aware of the temperature of the air against your head and you can be aware of the top of your head and allow that awareness to gently move down from the top of your head,

Moving down the back of your head and around the sides of your head noticing what those ears feel like,

Noticing sensations around those ears and allowing your awareness to move around to your forehead and your temple,

Noticing sensations around your forehead and temple perhaps noticing the different muscle tonality in your forehead and your temple and how you can begin to soften those muscles,

You can begin to relax the muscles around the temple and around the forehead and maybe as you begin to gently soften and relax the muscles around your forehead and your temple you notice how the muscles around the corner of your eyes begin to lower and deepen and relax,

Even before you're paying them any real attention and perhaps you can notice the way you can soften and relax the muscles around the lower head,

Around the very top of your neck almost like your head is just hanging loose and limp,

Rested and supported by the pillow or by what your head is resting on and then allowing some awareness to move to the muscles around the eyes,

Around the eyelids and just allowing those muscles around the eyes to gently relax,

Deeper and deeper and those muscles around the eyes,

Smoothing out the muscles that support the eyelids softening and relaxing perhaps noticing those eyelids just beginning to feel so heavy,

So comfortable so deeply relaxed and the muscles between the eyebrows and around the eyebrows softening and relaxing,

Deepening in relaxation smoothing out calming,

Deeper and deeper with those eyebrows lowering and becoming more relaxed so easily and so effortlessly and you may notice as you continue to drift,

Deeper and deeper into this experience that the eyes begin to move a little under the eyelids as they begin to trigger some visualizations,

Maybe patches of color or light at first just moments in the darkness behind those eyelids that can gradually form into an inner experience as your mind and body continue to relax and you don't have to put any effort at all into the experience,

Just be listening along to my voice just following along,

Engaging with the presented ideas and as you continue to engage with the presented ideas,

So you can relax deeper and deeper as the relaxation can begin to spread and soften those muscles under the eyes around the nose,

Around the cheeks softening and relaxing,

Stretching out those muscles deepening that relaxation so easily and so effortlessly in your own unique way and as you continue to listen to me talking here,

Guiding you deeper and deeper into the experience you may find at moments that you want to drift off asleep but don't drift off asleep too quickly into the experience really savor the journey,

Really try hard to enjoy lasting as long as you can into the experience so that when you let go and drift comfortably asleep it's at a time when you really feel ready to do so you really feel ready to drift into a lucid dream and you can allow your awareness to drift to your jaw,

To the muscles around your jaw drifting and floating and softening and relaxing those muscles allowing the jaw to just hang ever so slightly loose just allowing the jaw to relax allowing the lower jaw to just hang ever so slightly loose and relaxed and as you continue to enjoy this relaxation on your journey to a profound lucid dreaming you can begin to notice the way that relaxation can start to pass from your head down into your neck and as that relaxation begins to spread so peacefully,

So comfortably down into your neck so you can notice the way the muscles around the back of your neck,

The sides of your neck,

Around your throat begin to relax and allow that head to rest there supported by what it's resting on as you continue to relax deeper and deeper into the experience and while you continue to relax deeper and deeper into the experience so that relaxation can begin to spread out to the shoulders and I don't know whether the relaxation will spread faster to the left shoulder or the right shoulder or whether it will spread fastest to the shoulder blades down the middle and around the back of your shoulders as you continue to drift and float deeper asleep and continue to drift deeper into relaxation allowing your body to be fully and comfortably relaxed in preparation for profound lucid dreaming all the way,

Drifting deeper and deeper,

That's it,

Deeper and deeper and as you continue to drift deeper and deeper asleep so those shoulders can continue to soften and relax and perhaps lower and get heavier as the muscles relax so deeply and comfortably and that relaxation can spread around the shoulder blades,

It can spread around the upper back and it can begin to spread down into the arms and I don't know whether it will spread into the left arm or the right arm the fastest and whether you'll notice the relaxation reaches the fingertips on your left hand faster than your right hand or whether you'll notice that the relaxation reaches your fingertips on your right hand faster than your left and you can just be aware of how that relaxation spreads down those arms just following that relaxation down the biceps and triceps softening and relaxing down to the elbows,

Around those elbows continuing to deepen and soften relaxation all the way down to the forearms then down to those wrists,

Softening,

Relaxing,

Deepening the experience all the way,

All the way,

That's it,

That's it,

All the way down to those hands and I don't know whether the relaxation in those hands will spread from the palm out to the fingertips or the fingertips into the palm or from the back of the hand down to the fingertips and up to the palm or perhaps from the back of the hand through to the palm and then down into those fingertips just softening,

Relaxing,

You deeper and deeper into the experience now falling asleep,

That's it all the way deeper and deeper and those arms relaxing deeper,

Those hands relaxing deeper and as those arms and those hands relax deeper and deeper so they can begin to feel heavier and heavier that's it,

As the relaxation can move to passing down from those shoulders down to the chest and the upper back the relaxation can spread through the whole body from the chest at the front to the upper back at the rear that's it,

Really relaxing,

Softening all of the muscles there,

That's it and as you continue to enjoy a moments deep relaxation with this experience on your journey to lucid dreaming that relaxation can soften all those muscles,

Relax those muscles slowing the breathing to a comfortable rate and you know that there's a special way to breathe to help to deepen relaxation that encourages the relaxation response and that is to breathe from your stomach where your breaths are deep,

Filling your lungs and where you do long and comfortable in breaths that's it,

Followed by an even longer,

Deeper out breath breathing in and breathing out deeper and deeper breathing in and breathing out deeper and deeper,

That's it and as the muscles relax,

It just becomes even more instinctive for your body to be breathing in that way for the relaxation response to naturally begin to take over and to deepen your experience,

To help you become more absorbed relaxing deeper and deeper,

All the way into the experience that's that,

Relaxation so gently,

So comfortably moves down to your stomach,

To your lower back,

To your sides and while it moves down to your stomach,

Your lower back,

To your sides the relaxation can help to release any tension through the body almost as if relaxing your core helps to spread that relaxation even more profoundly around your body relaxing you even deeper,

Releasing any tension through your body any discomfort through your body softening,

Relaxing,

Peaceful,

Deeply,

All the way,

So profoundly relaxing and releasing any tension,

Any discomfort helping you to be free of any of that tension or discomfort that's it,

As your core softens and relaxes your sides soften and relax your lower back softens and relaxes and that relaxation spreads down to your buttocks spreads down into your legs,

Spreading down through your thighs all the way down to your calf muscles,

Your shins all the way down to your feet and to the tips of your toes relaxing those muscles as that relaxation goes softening,

Deepening,

Perhaps being aware of those legs becoming heavier and heavier as they continue to relax and as that relaxation continues through your body so,

You can perhaps notice how your whole body is almost seeming to just drift deeper and deeper into the experience and maybe you have moments where,

As your body relaxes so deeply your mind begins to be able to drift away from the body and maybe for a few moments,

You lose awareness of a hand or of a leg while your mind is off elsewhere as your body becomes so still so deeply relaxed,

So comfortable into this profound experience maybe you notice that you begin to have a slight floating sensation or a drifting sensation or some other sensation that is a sign of your mind drifting and floating away from that deeply relaxed body deeper and deeper inside your mind as you drift and begin to deepen your journey towards a profound lucid dreaming experience and while you continue that journey your body can continue to relax and your body can continue to relax deeper and more profoundly with each and every out breath that you take as you breathe in comfort and deep relaxation and you breathe out any remaining tension or discomfort from the body and as your body drifts and floats deeper and deeper asleep so it's time now for your mind to begin it's journey into a lucid dream and you can find yourself in your mind walking along a footpath and as you walk along this footpath you're heading through some woodland and you can be aware that at the far end of this woodland is a gate to a meadow and you can walk along this footpath and while you walk along this footpath so you can begin the process of developing that ability you'll need for lucid dreaming so to do this as you comfortably walk along this footpath you can notice how there's a silvery dancing rays of moonlight shining through the trees overhead dancing in front of you shimmering with dust particles being caught within that dancing moonlight the sounds of rustling leaves of the trees as the wind blows the most gentlest of breezes across the tops of those trees and yet,

Deep down here in the woods protected from that breeze by those leaves of all the trees the air is so incredibly still and yet,

With the air being still it just helps to highlight the movement of the dancing light of those beams of light from the moon passing through the moving leaves and illuminating the path in front of you and as you walk along this path through the woodland you can just take a moment to be aware of the sound of each footstep what does it sound like to be walking on the ground in this woodland?

Are there sounds of stepping onto leaves or twigs on the ground?

Are there sounds of stepping onto a compacted mud path?

Or perhaps walking along a grassy path?

And you can be aware of what that sounds like to be walking along that path through this woodland with the air here so still rustling leaves overhead,

The dancing light of the moonlight passing through those leaves and the sound of your footsteps as you walk through this path through the woodland and what walking feels like here?

What does it feel like to be placing each footstep down?

Aware of the sensations of the moving of your legs of your body,

The way your arms move as you walk of the way they perhaps sway back and forth as you walk along and the sensation of breathing in and out,

The air here the other sounds around you what other pleasant sounds can you hear in this woodland?

And as you begin to near the exit of the woodland begin to approach that gate you can walk up to the gate seeing an increase in light from the moonlight shining down on the meadow beyond the woodland maybe already noticing the grass moving and swaying in the breeze almost like waves across that meadow illuminated by that light of the moon as you reach that gate and you can have a sensation of reaching out to the gate having to hold a metal bar that you push towards the wooden gate requiring a little strength to do so so that it's pushed enough to be able to unhook from the latch on the post of the fence and then using a second hand holding on to the top of the gate with that second hand feeling the sensation of that wooden gate under that hand against the palm of your hand,

Your thumb on one side your fingers on the other side and the weight of the gate and how easily that gate swings open on its hinges and the sound the gate makes as you open it the temperature that wood feels like the temperature that metal pole feels like as you open the gate,

Walk through the gate and carefully close that gate behind you the sounds of closing the gate before you turn to face the meadow noticing this moonlit meadow looking so beautiful under that moonlight almost like there's a silver hue across the tops of the grass across the view you have around you and the dark blueness to the sky and when you look off across the meadow into the distance towards distant hills,

Different shades of blues leading to that night sky being able to look up at the sky to see what the moon looks like shining in the sky details on the moon seeing stars in the sky like twinkling diamonds or twinkling points of light just hovering there in the sky floating so peacefully and gracefully moving ever so slowly across the sky as you walk along through this meadow towards a grand oak tree that's standing tall and proud in the meadow being aware of how walking through the meadow feels different to walking through the woodland with the grass around your feet and walking through that meadow to that tree and when you reach that grand wide oak tree you carefully walk around the tree you reach out the palm of your hand,

Your fingertips you gently run your fingertips around the bark of the tree and your palm and you feel the sensation of the bark under the palm,

Under the fingertips the temperature of that bark how rough that feels,

The uneven nature of it and how it feels against those fingertips and you can notice how as you are close enough to run your fingers around the bark of this grand oak tree that you have the branches stretched out overhead blocking the light from directly beneath the tree those branches,

Some of which are so thick and sturdy looking like they could support the world on their shoulders like this oak tree was designed to hold up the weight of the world like the famous statue and as you walk around the grand oak tree you find an entrance into this tree you walk into that entrance and you see a spiral staircase spiraling down deep under this tree and you head down the steps and at the bottom of the steps is a door and as you head down those steps,

I'm just going to count down from 20 to 1 and on the count of 1 you can find yourself at the bottom of those stairs in front of that door and as I count from 20 down to 1 you can go 1 20th of the way even deeper towards the profound lucid dreaming experience as you begin to go down those stairs from 20,

19,

18,

17,

16 15,

14,

13 going deeper and deeper,

All the way down all the way there,

Deeper and deeper 12,

11,

10 9,

8,

7,

6 5,

4,

All the way 3 2,

1 that's it,

All the way now all the way down facing that door and as you prepare to open that door preparing for your lucid dreaming experience preparing for that profound lucid dreaming experience you can notice what the door looks like you can notice how wide the door is,

How tall the door is what this door is made of and you can see the handle on the door and notice what that handle looks like just before you reach out and then you can gently reach out with a sense of anticipation you can carefully open the door aware of the sound of that door as it opens aware of the sound of your footsteps if you step across the threshold and as you step across the threshold towards this lucid dreaming experience you can feel a sense of profound relaxation and I don't know how you will experience that now,

What you can do next is close the door behind you and notice the way this room here can become illuminated and in the middle of the room is the most comfortable chair you could ever imagine and you can head over to that chair you can relax down into the chair and as you relax down into that chair you can close your eyes and you can begin to drift asleep and as you close your eyes and begin to drift asleep you can recognize that this chair is a profound lucid dreaming chair it's a chair where you can come to relax back into and you fall asleep in this incredibly comfortable chair and the chair is so comfortable,

So supportive of your body that it allows your mind to just focus on the task of drifting into a profound lucid dream and you can find that this chair helps you to drift into the lucid dreams that you want to experience and so you can begin to think of what you would like to experience as a lucid dream before it occurs just as you are drifting asleep here you can think of what it is you would like to experience where you would like your lucid dream to be set what kind of story you would like to be playing out in that lucid dream what role you will take in that dream do you want the dream for pleasure or entertainment?

Do you want the dream for learning?

And perhaps somehow processing events from a day or from another time do you want the lucid dream to be exciting?

What is it you would like your lucid dream to be?

And so you can begin to have a thought of that you can begin to have a thought of where you would like to go next and as you begin to formulate those thoughts and ideas of the type of lucid dream you would like to have just beginning to form those vague ideas you don't need to know the specifics right now you're just really giving your mind a direction of travel you're helping to tell yourself this is the kind of experience that I'd want in the same way that someone could think I fancy listening to some rock and roll music now and so you start searching through rock and roll music or you can think I fancy watching a comedy film and so you start searching through comedy films you don't necessarily know or have an idea of the exact thing you're after and you may even be comfortable with something random from that genre so all you're doing is just making sure that your mind knows the kind of place that you want to go for your profound,

Deep,

Lucid dreaming experience and so as your mind processes that begins to prepare to accept you into that lucid dreaming experience it can trigger your body here in that chair to begin to relax deeper and deeper just as you did before relaxing the top of your head,

Relaxing down through your head,

Your neck,

Your shoulders down your arms to your hands,

Down through your body deepening and softening the breathing all the way down to the tips of your toes almost like you're entering a matrix or a virtual reality world where your body drifts into one state to allow your mind to wander somewhere else knowing that when you're done there,

You can come back here safely,

Comfortably to this location here resting in this most comfortable chair and as you now begin to make that journey to the lucid dream I don't know how it will start for you how that lucid dreaming program as it were will begin for you whether it'll be like glimmers of light or colour in your mind's eye maybe something dancing before your eyes you'll be going somewhere under your eyelids maybe that begins to form a certain shapes or sensations first maybe you hear something before you see it or see it before you hear it maybe it starts off as flashes of light or colour almost like a patchwork becomes formed and pieced together to form the experience maybe it begins with a feeling or a sensation and as it begins to form around you as your mind begins to paint the experience for you with all of those senses I don't know whether it'll start off darker and need to be brightened whether it'll start off black and white and then need to have the colour added however it begins for you now it's entirely up to the way your mind feels is most appropriate to create this experience for you and I don't know whether it'll do it quickly or slowly it'll take as long as it needs over the next few seconds to do that while you relax and drift deeper and more comfortably into the experience now that's it,

All the way that's it,

Deeper and deeper and while you continue to drift in the experience you can notice yourself becoming more lucid notice that you have autonomy in the experience in the experience you get to look left you can look right,

You can look up or down you can walk or move backwards and forwards and depending on the lucid dream you're having maybe there's far more that you can do but you are aware of yourself in this dream you are aware of your abilities within this dream and perhaps some abilities are things you'll just discover and not be aware of until you discover them and so,

To help you to experience this lucid dream more fully just take a moment to find something you can pick up something that you're able to interact with something that isn't too large and just pick that up,

Move it around in your hand have a sense of the weight of that object have a sense of lifting and lowering your hand almost like curling a dumbbell to really get a sense of the weight of that maybe moving your hand backwards and forwards maybe twisting your hand slightly left and right and rotating that object in your hand and just notice what that feels like to be moving that object around to be handling that object what the object feels like under those fingertips what the texture of the object is whether the object is solid or slightly squishy or somewhere in between the dimensions of that object and just really explore what that object feels like to be handling and maybe use your other hand to help you to explore what that object feels like and then holding the object in front of you have a sense of what the object looks like noticing it's colour or colours noticing what the texture looks like noticing it's brightness or whether it's dimmer or darker the way it reflects or absorbs light maybe bringing that object closer to you so that you can be aware of what it smells like and does the smell of the object remind you of any memories the other experiences that's it really exploring that object and what the object sounds like does it have any sounds of it's own what does it sound like if you tap it against a different object maybe against a table or a wall or the floor or even just tapping it against your other hand does it make any sounds what does it sound like if you rub your fingers around that object or if you tap on the object maybe in different places with your fingertips and are there any other ways to make sounds from that object just have a sense of how you feel about that object does it evoke any feelings and then once you've explored that object you can begin to continue exploring continue to explore this profound lucid dream by finding something else,

Some other object a location that you can go to explore and as you explore just notice what you can see notice what you can hear notice what you can feel both physically through touching things and interacting with things and emotionally notice what things smell like and take some time to explore your autonomy here your ability to interact with the world,

With the experience in this dream maybe talking to others deciding to do or not to do things your ability to control yourself your ability to control how you feel,

How you interact and to allow you to really enjoy and explore profound lucid dreaming profound lucid dreaming you can notice that while you're lucid dreaming you're wearing a watch and on that watch is a button and if you press that button it's a bit like changing channels on a TV you press the button and the TV will change to a different channel and here you can press that button and the lucid dream will disappear and a different idea from your unconscious now will appear before you and around you and so if you decide that you want to if you decide you're not keen on the lucid dream you're experiencing if you want to change it for something new you can think about the type of thing you'd like to change it to which is like thinking about the channel you'd like to change your TV to watch you can press the button on your wrist on that watch and this lucid dream will fade away and just as quickly a new one will fade into its place as one fades out the next fades in and so you can then explore multiple dreams and time in a lucid dream isn't the same as real world time so you may discover that a lucid dream can seem to last hours or weeks or days or months or years and yet in real world time only a short amount of time may have passed and so you can really enjoy drifting and exploring lucid dreams now and as I go silent in the background so you can continue to drift deeper and deeper into the experience and my silence will help you go deeper and deeper and will help you find it easier and easier to lucid dream just as you will find it easier and easier to lucid dream with each use of this track as your mind and body gets more used to the process and I don't know whether you'll remember your lucid dreams or whether you'll forget some of them and over time begin to remember your lucid dreams and I don't know whether you'll drift profoundly asleep recalling your lucid dreams when you awake feeling so refreshed in the morning or whether you'll just drift deeply asleep and on awakening you'll have a sense of the dreams that you had while feeling so peaceful and so calm and ready to carry on with your day and so you can just drift deeper into the experience and explore your lucid dreams explore these profound lucid dreaming experiences
