This is Dr.
Holly offering this meditation,
Which honors our sister moon and the trees which surround us.
I invite you,
If you're in a space where you can,
To sit comfortably with your awake spine.
And if you're in a place where you feel that you can,
Close your eyes.
If not,
You can hold a soft gaze.
Let's sit together for a moment.
Inhaling through our nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Let's do that two more times.
Inhale and exhale.
Again,
Inhaling and exhale.
Notice your feet on the earth.
As you pay attention to these feet,
You realize they're walking on grass,
Moving forward.
Ahead of you,
You see a group of trees.
You realize you're walking through a forest.
The trees slowly surround you as you move forward.
There's a light that shines through the trees above.
In the time,
You realize it's not the sun,
But rather the sister moon,
Reflecting the light of the sun,
Reflecting the energies that come towards her,
Reflecting your energy.
She shines down like a spotlight to the tree ahead of you,
Illuminated,
And you find yourself walking towards it.
You notice this tree has some changing leaves that you would expect in the fall and autumn.
Various colors,
From the greens to yellows to reds,
You're struck by its beauty.
Its energy beckons you forward.
You find yourself there with this tree,
Sharing its energy.
You're filled with calm,
Love,
Safety.
Breathe that in.
Allow yourself to have this energy fill your heart space.
You may find that you want to lean on this tree,
Or even sit amongst its intricate and beautiful roots to reach deep into the earth,
To connect with the trees around it.
It's something that you can only sense at this moment.
A system of community,
Of support,
Of love.
The system beckons you to become one with it.
You realize the energies from all the surrounding roots of all the surrounding trees are moving through the earth to connect with your root,
With your ancestry,
With your sense of being.
Feel the support of your ancestral line,
The love of your bloodline,
The magic of your spirit line,
This tree line moves its energy up through your root,
Through your solar plexus,
Your sacral space,
Creativity brewing,
Light shining,
Up into your heart space,
Not to be forgotten.
Your moon shines from above,
Into your crown,
Reminding you spirit is always present,
Always willing to guide you when you allow yourself to see.
Breathing that in,
This light almost feels like a glow on your skin,
Shining downward.
You almost can't bear to see it,
It's so beautiful.
Shining into your crown,
You feel the energy flowing to your third eye as it opens.
Part of you can see the spirits and ancestors around you,
Holding you,
Supporting you in this moment,
Allowing you to see what comes next,
Space,
Magic,
Beauty,
Love.
The light moves into your throat chakra,
Allowing you to realize that you can speak your truth,
You can move forward with this tribe at your back,
Say what needs to be said,
Write what needs to be read,
Singing your truth to all those ready to listen.
You know all those in this forest are hearing you.
You realize the light shines down into your heart space,
Glows with a green that you've never seen before,
Like the moss of the tree above you in its central space.
You hold this green light of love,
Of caring,
Of giving,
And it glows from you to the forest around you.
All the animals who pause in this moonlit night to see the beauty that's coming forth from your spirit,
All the trees that are supporting you from below and looking at you from the branches above,
Holding you in this moment,
Feeling that love.
Because you can't help yourself feeling that glow move beyond the forest into the spaces where your loved ones reside.
Beyond that,
To people you've never met and may never cross paths with in this lifetime,
To spirits you remember and no longer recall,
Whose paths you've crossed in other realms.
All of them touched by this light,
Shining from you in this moment,
In the moments you'll step into that have yet to come.
Breathing in that light,
Allowing yourself to bathe in it,
In every cell of your body feeling that glow,
That healing.
You realize the light is reflecting back to you from this disjointed moon,
Who always reflects what we can see and not.
Allowing you to have that love you've sent forth to those around you,
Come back to you,
Healing something inside that maybe you'd forgotten was hurt.
In that moment,
You notice something falling from above,
The most beautiful leaf you've seen from your tree.
As it falls to the earth to offer its nutrients and energy to the trees surrounding it and those yet to come,
You realize it's time for you too to let go.
What no longer serves you in these autumn days,
What can you let go of and allow to fall to the earth to offer nutrients and energy to the generations coming after you?
The spirit lines,
The tree lines that you may never meet,
The trees that you may never see,
The tree lines that you may never meet,
Allow that energy to be let go so they may use it,
So they may take your lessons and move forward to greener days.
Allow that to happen,
To be released with your exhalation,
Breathing in the support and love of the moon and the trees,
Breathing out all that no longer serves you,
Allowing that breath to empty into the energy around you,
Which will take it and use it in a more positive way.
Realizing just like the trees shed their leaves,
You shed this energy,
Allowing yourself what you need to cocoon and grow in these winter months.
The energy you keep with yourself will allow for that growth and the nutrients you leave behind will help sustain you.
Knowing this is true,
Breathe that in.
As lonely as it sometimes feels to move into that growth space,
This moment reminds you you are never alone.
You always have sister moon.
The trees from this forest,
Which under the earth connect to the trees that are near you,
The trees and forests near you and cityscapes,
All of them are connected.
All of them offer support.
All the spirits that are surrounding you now travel with you wherever you find yourself going.
In this growth space,
They surround and protect you.
As you breathe in,
Exhale one last time,
Sending gratitude to sister moon for this beautiful network,
The theme that felt from the trees and forests surrounding you.
Knowing that as you bow,
Perhaps even kiss and hug the tree,
That you're not quite leaving her.
These trees will always be connected to you and those that you cross paths with as you move forward.
Walking away,
Full of this love,
Full of this heart,
Space,
Energy,
Feeling a little taller,
A little more okay.
Knowing that it's okay just like the leaves to fall down,
It's okay in the winter,
But you can still stand in the spring and shine like the sun and have it reflected back to you.
Bringing your attention back into the room where you reside,
Noticing your feet are no longer touching the grass,
But are instead in the room with you in this moment.
Wiggling your toes,
Perhaps to reach back into that magical space,
Carrying a little bit of it with you,
Maybe stretching towards the sun and moving along.
I invite you to find some water,
Perhaps a snack,
Something to care for yourself for the next few minutes,
As you bathe in the love and light that you visited today.
I hope that serves you.
Dr.
Holly and Darla Miss Noma.
Sending you love.
