Find a quiet place to sit or stand comfortably.

Close your eyes if you feel safe to do so,

Or you may lower your gaze.

Take a deep breath in,

Slowly counting to three,

Then exhale gently,

Counting to three again.

A deep breath in,

One,

Two,

Three.

Exhale gently,

One,

Two,

Three.

Repeat this for a few moments.

Feel the air move through your body,

Refreshing and calming you.

Place your hand over your heart and focus on the warmth of your hand.

Imagine this warmth spreading from your hand into your heart space.

Now inhale deeply,

Thinking of warmth and light filling your heart.

Exhale slowly,

Imagining any stress or loneliness flowing out as you breathe.

With each inhale,

Draw in peace and serenity.

With each exhale,

Release the chaos and stress.

Picture a gentle,

Comforting light in your heart growing brighter with each breath.

Let this light represent connection to yourself,

To others,

And to the moment.

Silently repeat to yourself,

With each breath,

I am present.

With each breath,

I am connected.

With each breath,

I am present.

With each breath,

I am connected.

After a few cycles of breath,

Slowly remove your hand from your heart,

But keep the warmth and light within.

When you are ready,

You can gently open your eyes or lift your gaze.

Take this warmth with you as you go about your day.
