This meditation is to support you in your journey with cancer,
To be accepting of any treatment that you're undertaking,
To release any thoughts,
Feelings and emotions that need to be processed and released,
And to nurture yourself with love and acceptance of where you are at right now.
Let's start by getting comfortable,
Either sitting or laying down.
If you are comfortable to,
Close down your eyes or lower your gaze and slowly settle yourself.
Move your attention to your breathing and take a deep breath in,
Slowly through your nose,
And then slowly releasing the breath out of your mouth.
Repeat this two more times,
And then return to the rhythm of your natural breath.
You have nowhere else to be,
Nothing else to do.
Allow yourself to be present here in this moment.
When your mind wanders,
Just acknowledge the thought with thankfulness,
Release it with love and acceptance,
And return to my voice.
Set the intention as you breathe throughout this meditation,
That you are breathing in calm,
Loving,
Healing energy,
And breathing out any fears,
Stress,
Blockages or emotion that need to be released.
Let's do that now.
Take three more deep breaths and imagine you are breathing in calm,
Loving energy into your body that is healing everything it touches,
And on your exhale all fears,
Stress,
Blockages or emotions are being released.
We will return to some more deep intentional breaths throughout this meditation.
Bring your awareness to your whole body,
Notice any sensations,
The feeling of your body touching the surface you are on.
Notice the air around your body,
Is it cool or warm?
Is there a breeze or stillness?
Is your body calm and relaxed?
If you need to relax some more,
In your next few breaths,
Slow your breathing down a little,
And say to yourself,
In your mind as you breathe,
I am safe and secure.
I am in this present moment.
I am safe and secure.
I am in this present moment.
We want to remove any fear we are holding around the word cancer.
When we hear or say the word,
Remind your brain that we are dealing with abnormal or funky cells.
Our body has highlighted to us that we need to make some changes in our life,
And these funky cells are like a lighthouse,
Showing us where we need to focus right now.
With this awareness,
Focus now on the organ or area of your body,
Where cancer has or does reside.
Look into these funky cells.
Imagine in your mind what they look like.
Place your hands on the part of your body if you can reach it,
Or imagine picking up these cells,
Or the organ of your body,
And holding them in your hands.
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Is there a message your cancer wants you to hear?
To know?
Ask yourself,
Is there anything I need to learn from this?
If nothing comes to mind,
That's ok.
These funky cells are still part of your body,
So we are going to send love and kindness to the cancer through our hands.
Take a few deep breaths,
In and out,
Bringing in healing white light to surround and lovingly heal the cells.
And on exhale,
Release any blocked or stored emotions,
Any old beliefs,
Patterns or expectations.
As you inhale,
Notice the cells light up with crystal white light,
Pure and perfect.
And on exhale,
Notice any waste,
Darkness or old,
Being removed and released.
Do this for the next few minutes.
With gratitude,
Return your awareness to your whole body.
We are going to imagine now,
Our whole body is standing comfortably on a huge stable rock,
Under a cleansing waterfall,
Surrounded by beautiful trees and a river.
Notice the lovely colours of the birds,
The sunlight dancing through the leaves on the trees,
The sparkle of light on the flowing river below.
Notice the sounds of the birds,
The river below,
And the waterfall you are standing under.
Feel the water as it falls from above you,
Surrounding your whole body,
And falling down below the rocks into the flowing river.
Feel how comfortable you are.
The water is the perfect temperature,
And it feels cleansing and healing.
This sparkling crystal pure healing water is falling in and around the crown of your head,
Through all parts of your body,
And out and around your feet,
Down the rocks,
Into the flowing river.
We are going to now,
Do a thorough cleanse and healing throughout the whole body,
Remove any stuckness,
And get some flow.
Help any medications or treatment you have undergone,
To be accepted,
Processed,
And moved through and out of the body.
If you feel any pressure anywhere in your body,
While we do this,
Just relax and say in your mind,
I am willing to release what no longer serves me.
I am willing to release what no longer serves me.
Feel the water on your head.
Imagine it entering the crown of your head,
And cleaning out your whole head,
Your brain,
Your thoughts,
Beliefs,
Expectations,
Blood,
Muscles,
Nerves,
Cleansing your eyes,
Nose,
Ears,
Mouth,
Jaw,
And neck.
Imagine the water,
Washing now,
Down your shoulders,
Your upper arms,
Wrists,
Elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
Hands,
And fingers.
See the water flowing out of your hands,
As it cleans your arms.
Relax.
Feel the water come down off and through your shoulders,
To your chest,
Your breast,
Your stomach,
Abdomen,
Pelvic and pubic areas,
Your back,
Your neck,
All the way down your spine.
Also imagine it doing a thorough cleaning of your heart,
Liver,
Gallbladder,
Kidneys,
Arteries,
Intestines,
Or any other organs that come to mind.
Imagine the healing crystal water,
Cleaning into the corners,
Crevices,
Down to the cellular level,
As it washes and flows through your body.
Feel and see the water cleanse and heal your hips,
Thighs,
Shins,
Calves,
Ankles,
Heels,
Feet,
And toes.
See the water flowing out of your feet,
As it cleans your whole body.
Watch the water flow down the rocks and into the river.
Notice the water entering the top of your head,
Flowing all the way down through your whole body,
Through all your organs,
And flowing out of your hands,
Out of your feet,
And flowing down the rocks into the river.
Feel the lightness and just rest in this for a moment.
Move your attention now to your whole body and feel the connection between your body and the floor,
Cushion or chair.
Slowly bring your awareness back now to where you are.
Slowly wriggle your fingers,
Your toes,
And start to make slow and gentle movements.
Take a deep breath in,
And out.
Slowly,
When you are ready,
Open your eyes and gently stretch and move as you bring your awareness back to this room.
