Explore MeditationDenise is a longtime meditation and yoga instructor. In 2008 she became one of the first trained facilitators to offer the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course in Portland, Or. As a licensed therapist since 1999, Denise specializes in mindfulness approaches for alleviating suffering from depression, anxiety, and addictions. She enjoys regularly leading local and national mindfulness retreats and serves as a professional trainer in health care, university, and social service settings. Denise is an active member of the Zen Community of Oregon, under the direction of Roshi Jan Chozen Bays.
