
2021 En-vision Your Goals

Start 2021 by relaxing, then visualizing all aspects of a goal you wish to achieve. If you don't have one, this meditation will help you to think one up! This recording starts with a body scan, then moves into determining a goal and visualizing all aspects of achieving it and feeling that wonderful feeling you'll get when you achieve it.

Hello there,
This is Will from Destiny Genesis.
And today I'm going to do a guided meditation for the new year.
So that you can better visualize,
Realize,
And imagine a specific goal that you want to accomplish in this new year.
And we're going to do that by first relaxing,
Because change happens when we are most relaxed.
It happens in other ways too,
When we're scared,
When we have a profound experience.
But,
You know,
If you're like me,
Then you probably prefer to just relax as deeply as possible and affect change that way.
So,
While I'm getting started here,
If you would find yourself to a comfortable location,
Whether it's a chair,
Or a couch,
Or a bed,
And just begin to make yourself comfortable while you're listening to this,
We'll get started in just a minute.
So the new year is a very exciting time of year.
People are ready for a change,
They're ready for a new beginning.
And often times those things that they want to achieve,
They don't last.
And it's because they don't have a clear vision,
A clear plan of success to achieve that goal.
So we're going to relax,
And we're going to imagine that goal in detail.
And then we're going to experience that goal as if we already have it to teach ourselves what feeling that goal,
That success feels like,
So that we can better arrive at our goals and desires.
So hopefully you're in a comfortable place now.
Just begin to take a deep breath in and out.
And when we take a deep breath and pay attention to our breath,
You can relax rather quickly.
You'd be surprised how quickly you can relax,
Just slowing down the breath,
Going from an anxious breathing or a fast breathing to a slow,
Methodical,
Easy breath in and out,
And paying attention to that breath.
And now I want you to pay attention to whatever it is that you're sitting or laying on,
Whatever you're being supported by.
Just notice how that feels to be supported as you continue to breathe in and out,
The sensation,
That feeling of comfort,
Of support that you feel right now.
And as you continue to breathe in and out,
We're going to do a quick little body scan so that you feel more relaxed,
So that you can better imagine your success by connecting with your unconscious mind.
So if you would now direct your focus,
Your consciousness,
Your attention to your feet.
Maybe you're wearing slippers or socks or shoes.
Feel the sensation of those on your feet.
If you're not,
Just feel the feeling of the air on your bare feet.
Pay attention to that sensation,
Really focus on it.
And that's going to draw your mind out of your brain and into your body.
And that's where you feel most relaxed.
So while you continue to breathe in and out slowly,
Just focus on that sensation on the outside of your feet.
Whatever feels most comfortable,
If there's something that feels,
If there's an area that feels better than another,
Just really pay attention to that.
And now as you continue to breathe in and out,
I want you to move your focus from the periphery to the inside of your foot and to detect the sensation that is there.
We have nerves in our feet,
We have oxygen being delivered by blood cells,
We have a whole bunch of different biological processes going on in our feet.
And if you really pay attention to them,
They can feel quite pleasant.
It's the feeling of being alive.
It's always there and we don't often pay attention to it.
But see if you can find sensation inside your foot that feels most pleasant to you and just focus on that all the while.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Now I want you to move your focus to your legs.
Scan every inch,
Every millimeter.
There are infinite different possibilities of places in your legs that you could focus on.
So find the one that feels best to you.
Scan through,
Travel through every inch,
Every millimeter,
Every dimension.
Find something that feels just incredibly relaxing to you.
And if you're still working on this ability to scan your body,
You're unable to find something,
Just focus on your breath as we continue this process and breathe in and out.
Focus on anything maybe in the room that makes you feel relaxed.
Focus on the sound of the water on this recording and listen to the sound of my voice.
So now if you're scanning your body,
I want you to detect the sensation in your belly.
And our belly is a wonderful place.
It houses all of our organs that detoxify our body,
That digests nutrients.
It's an incredible place full of energy and life.
So whatever location,
Scan around it first until you come to rest in a specific location in your belly that feels good.
And when you get there,
Just take a couple breaths in and out.
And now I want you to scan with your perception the sensation in your chest.
Scan around and see what's there.
What feelings you detect.
Your lungs,
Your heart,
The place where your breath is processed.
An incredibly important spot.
So whatever feels most pleasant,
Most relaxing,
As you scan through your chest,
Come to rest on whatever that is.
And now I want you to feel the sensation in your arms.
Feel from your shoulders,
Through all the nerves,
All the muscles,
All the way down to your hands.
Locate a sensation that feels pleasant to you and just focus on it.
Breathe in and out while you focus.
Go deeper into relaxation.
Feel more comfortable.
Breathe in and out.
And we'll skip your head because your head is often the point of focus for your consciousness of all the little thoughts and ideas and bills and whatever.
We don't want to bring any attention to those right now.
Just be in your body.
Focus on any point in your body that's most pleasant to you.
And if you feel quite relaxed,
And if you don't feel relaxed yet,
Just pay attention to your breath.
Focus on the sound of the water and listen to the sound of my voice.
And now we will visualize our goal.
So first I want you to imagine what it is that you want.
A goal.
A thing.
Maybe it's a relationship.
Anything that you possibly want to achieve this year.
Just imagine it now.
And now,
Quickly,
We're going to switch.
Change the picture,
Change the sound,
Whatever it is.
Just imagine again something that you want.
Anything.
Pick something new.
We're going to do this a couple times so that if you're having difficulty picking something,
We're going to stimulate you to imagine new things.
And eventually you'll come to one and you'll pick the best thing that you want to achieve this year.
So now imagine a new thing that you want.
A new goal.
Where are you?
What are the sounds?
What is the feeling inside?
What do you look like?
What music is possibly playing?
Where are you?
What is the quality of where you are?
Just imagine that now.
Something that you want.
Now,
One more time,
Change the picture.
You're in a new place.
There's new sounds.
There's new conversations.
Where are you now?
What is this new goal?
This new thing from your unconscious mind.
This desire of yours.
Just imagine that wherever you are,
Whatever you're doing,
Whoever you're with,
Whatever sounds,
Whatever music,
Whatever rhythm,
Whatever location.
Imagine another goal.
And so hopefully through that process you imagine something worthwhile.
It doesn't always come on the first try,
So that's okay.
And if you didn't come up with a new goal,
Perhaps throughout this process my words will assist you in realizing what goal it is that you want out of this year.
So pick whatever goal was your favorite.
If not,
Stick with me.
We've got a lot of envisioning,
Imagining left to do,
And I'm sure that you'll find your goal somewhere within there.
So now that you have your goal,
I want you to imagine your goal in a positive way,
In positive terms.
Not what do I not want.
I don't want to be poor.
I don't want to eat too much.
I don't want to have a bad diet.
I want to be wealthy.
I want to eat healthy.
I want to exercise.
So imagine it and state it in your mind in positive terms.
And as you state it in positive terms,
I want you with all of your senses to experience this goal,
However your mind portrays it.
Whatever you see about this goal.
Who are you interacting with?
Where are you at?
What do you look like in the scene?
What are you hearing in this goal?
Are you speaking?
Are you speaking to someone else?
Do you have a partner?
Are you talking to a friend or a loved one?
What are you feeling in this goal?
Do you feel a sense of confidence?
A sense of joy?
A sense of success?
Really just feel whatever that feeling is.
Now just bring it all together.
Make the experience more vivid.
If there's sounds,
Make them louder.
If there's music,
Play it louder.
If there's feelings,
Make them more energetic.
Spin that feeling wherever you feel that feeling.
Just intensify it.
Make it glow.
Make it feel wonderful.
And hang on to that feeling as best you can for the rest of this ride.
So now I want you to imagine what achieving this goal,
This relationship,
Or this state will achieve for you.
What will it do for you?
Will you feel more confident?
Will you have more success in your job?
Will you have more financial wealth?
Whatever it is that it's going to do for you.
How is it going to change your current state?
How is it going to change how you feel?
Whatever it's going to do for you,
Just imagine that now.
And make sure you're continuing to breathe.
Don't forget about your breath.
These envisionings,
These imaginings,
They can get exciting,
But always bring it to your breath.
And sometimes maybe it feels too exciting.
And bringing it to the breath helps you internalize and accept that feeling.
So next,
How will you know when you have achieved this goal,
This relationship,
This idea of yours?
How will you know when you get there?
What are the key success factors?
What exactly do you need for this goal to be met?
What has to happen?
So imagine that.
Visualize the key success factors,
The things that are indicative of when you have achieved this goal.
Whether you have a promotion,
A certain number in your bank account,
A relationship with someone that you like or you're excited about.
What is it that you will have when you achieve this goal?
So now I want you to imagine how this will affect other aspects or people in your life.
So there's this beautiful word in business called synergy.
And synergy is when one area of a business is improved,
The other areas naturally improve.
And this concept can relate to anything.
So perhaps you exercise more.
And because of that,
You feel in a better mind state.
You have more energy to move towards your goals throughout the day.
That is synergy.
So how is this going to affect other aspects of your life?
Is it going to make your family happier too?
Is it going to influence your health?
Is it going to influence your wealth,
The people around you that you care about?
So just see all of the synergy and the other aspects of your life that will be influenced by achieving this goal.
So now just keep breathing,
Keep relaxing every breath you feel more relaxed and get more into this process.
So imagine what stops you from having this already.
What are the barriers?
Is it your own barriers?
Are there external barriers?
Is it your self-talk?
Is it a financial barrier?
Logistical barrier?
Just imagine those barriers.
Just see them or hear them or feel those barriers.
What is holding you back from achieving this wonderful thing?
And when you become aware of the barriers,
You can teach your unconscious mind how to aid you.
Once it's aware of the barriers,
It will come up with its own solutions to assist you in achieving this goal.
So just imagine whatever barriers or whatever could possibly stop you from this goal now.
And see it fully so that your subconscious mind understands it and can assist you with surpassing these obstacles.
So now next,
Imagine what resources you already have that will help you obtain your outcome.
Often you already have incredible resources at your disposal,
Whether it's someone you know that can be a referral or connect to you,
Or maybe there's already a product that exists that can assist you,
A software.
Maybe you already have a tool at your disposal that you can use,
A mental strategy that you learned to approach and achieve this goal.
What do you have already right now?
And if you can't think of anything that you have,
Then imagine something that you could have.
Maybe in the future,
Imagine a future state of you that has the resource,
That has this resource,
And they're going to open a bridge back to you in the present.
A stairwell coming down,
A telephone call from the future that you can answer and your future self will deliver you this resource that can help you right now.
So next,
Imagine what additional resources you need to obtain this goal.
What do you not have yet?
What could be the missing link,
The bridge from your current state to success?
What additional resources can help you obtain this goal?
Just experience them now,
Whatever your subconscious mind provides you.
Don't resist it,
Just allow it to provide you with this information and you can filter it later into the most valuable insights to help you achieve this goal.
So now,
How are you going to get there?
Imagine the roadmap to the finish line.
Imagine the path that you will take.
Imagine the applause when you get there.
What steps are you going to take to get there?
Maybe there's two steps,
Maybe three,
Maybe many steps,
But just see whatever steps there are,
It doesn't matter what order.
Whatever steps your subconscious mind comes up with now,
You process those into your conscious mind.
Later on,
Realize the ones that are most valuable.
So now you've imagined some steps.
And next,
I want you to pick the first step.
Whatever that first step is and make it achievable today.
What's the first step that you can do today?
It could take five minutes.
It can be as simple as a phone call.
It could be as simple as writing down your plan to get there.
What's something,
A concrete action that you can take today towards your goal?
Make it easy,
Make it achievable,
Because once you start in motion,
Once you begin this beautiful process to achieve your goal,
You start to pick up momentum.
And every little step you take builds more and more momentum towards the goal until you're up to speed.
And you're moving so fast that no one can stop you.
But it all starts with the first step.
The first step happens now.
As soon as you get off this meditation,
Just imagine that first step that you can take and then do it.
Make it easy for yourself.
But set this goal in motion.
And so now I want you to take one last chance to see this goal in all the glory.
See yourself there having achieved this goal.
What do you look like?
What's the look on your face?
What are you wearing?
Who are you with?
Whatever that scene is,
Just imagine it.
What are you saying?
What are people saying to you?
Is there applause?
Is there music?
And what is the feeling?
What feelings you feel inside?
What feeling is there in the place that you are?
Just feel it all right now.
And now make it 10 times bigger.
Make it brighter.
Make it more vivid,
More colorful.
Make the sounds more clear,
More loud,
More impactful.
And whatever you're feeling,
Just spin it faster and faster.
Feel it 10 times.
Feel whatever incredible feeling you have when you achieve this goal.
It's you.
You've envisioned it.
You're already there.
And now,
Just as soon as you're ready to come back to reality,
To take that first step.
You can do so now.
Just however soon is this comfortable and it's a good place to fall asleep and just continue this meditation of envisioning your goals.
But if it's time to come back,
Time to go about your day,
Time to take a step,
Take an action.
Then you can slow or as fast as is comfortable.
Come back to consciousness,
To awareness,
To awakeness.
And just remember to listen to this tape every day for at least three weeks to take an action every single day.
And if you do those two things,
You will make progress towards your goal.
And the more progress you make,
The more momentum you build,
The more momentum you build,
The more unstoppable you will become.
So have a wonderful day and go get your goal.
