I’m sure you know the saying that most people are imprisoned by their minds, and yet the irony is that they don’t realize it. That is because most people are not self-aware, and they think that they are their minds. Here’s the thing. Most spiritual entrepreneurs, like myself, are aware that they are not their mind, and yet, we are still dominated to an extent. So, how do you know that you are a victim of your mind? And how do we free ourselves from the ego-mind?

Hello there,

It's Zina here of Soul Purpose Publishing and Coaching.

And I just want to talk about Mind Domination because as I get deeper and deeper into studying this and my own journey,

I really realize every day more and more that Mind Domination is really the root of all suffering,

Of all human suffering.

And I'm sure you know the saying that most people are imprisoned by their minds and yet the irony is that they don't realize it.

And that is because most people are not self-aware and they think that they are their minds.

And here's the thing,

Most spiritual entrepreneurs like myself are aware that they are not their minds and yet we are still dominated to an extent.

So how do you know that you are a victim of your mind?

Well,

Here are some questions to ponder.

1.

Do you react to life?

Do you often feel dissatisfied,

Disappointed,

Fearful,

Doubtful,

Angry,

In other words a low vibration emotion?

2.

Do you have constant commentary?

3.

Do you engage with that conversation that's playing in your mind?

Are you very busy,

You know,

Having a thousand things to do?

You jump from the one thing to the next,

To the next,

To the next,

To the next,

But you don't feel that you don't get anywhere.

4.

Do you believe what you think?

5.

Do you believe that your emotions are true?

Now what if I tell you that all of the above are based on assumptions by your ego mind or your false self about something,

A situation,

A person,

A place,

Activity or a result.

And it's about resisting the present moment.

Now the ego mind will never accept the present moment because that would mean it doesn't exist.

So how do we free ourselves from the ego mind?

It's simple,

But it's not easy.

It's to become present and aware.

So that you become the observer of your mind.

You become the witness of your life and thereby you don't create further suffering for yourself or others.

Now the way to implement self-awareness is to create a habit of pausing to become present.

I have an alarm on my phone that reminds me to stop and pause and become present.

And then following your breath brings your awareness into the present moment and stay here for a few minutes.

Also,

At various intervals during the day or whenever you are become aware that you are busy,

Ask yourself,

Am I aware?

Am I aware?

And of course become aware of how you feel and what you think.

When we become aware of our emotions and we stop and we ask,

What am I thinking?

You will start becoming aware of your beliefs and if they are your truth or not,

Do they serve you or not?

Become aware of what you say,

Your words.

Is it your truth or an assumption by your mind?

Now,

When you practice this,

You begin to tune into your inner being,

Your heart,

You begin to really connect to your heart,

Who has all the answers to everything.

And the final word is to remember that everything is frequency.

We live in a world of frequency.

In a universe of frequency,

Sound and light frequencies and every word that we speak,

Every thought that we have,

Everything,

Every emotion carries a frequency.

And that frequency interacts with the law of attraction and brings us more of what we think about and feel about and speak about.

So it is a practice to become present and to become aware of how we are dominated by our minds.

Well,

Do some journaling on those questions and become just aware of them and good luck with that.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Bye for now.
