Now,
There will be times during your divorce when things get intense.
When you feel anger,
Betrayal,
Disbelief,
When your heart is closed.
And so what I want to show you is a tool to have in your toolbox that I created and I call it the Baby Spouse Meditation.
And this is a short one or two minute meditation that is designed for you to stop and do it anywhere whenever you need it when things get intense.
So first I ask you to just be still and get centered.
Close your eyes and visualize your spouse,
Your husband.
Picture him standing in front of you and you're feeling all these intense emotions toward him because of this divorce.
Now I want you to visualize your husband as a baby,
As a toddler standing in front of you.
Picture the way he looked in his cute baby pictures that you've seen at his mom's house.
Picture his chubby little cheeks,
His stubby little fingers,
His cute little smile.
What does he look like?
Does he look like your own little babies?
How adorable is he?
Now pick him up and hug him,
Kiss his little chubby cheeks,
And now send him love and light.
Breathe in the love and send it right to him,
Radiate love to this sweet little baby.
Now just sit in this loving feeling,
Breathe it in,
Radiate love out.
Now release him and let him go.
This radiation of love and light to your little baby husband changes the vibe.
When you send out love and light to someone,
It returns to you every time.
It's the law of attraction.
Now your heart is a little softer and you know that this difficult man standing in front of you is really just a mask of this sweet little baby you just held in your arms.
And this slight,
Ever so slight change in perspective on your part,
Change in your heart,
Can really lessen,
Reduce the intensity of the current situation.
So put this brief little baby spouse meditation in your toolbox,
Pull it out,
Use it when you're in a rough patch,
When you are angry and just want to lash out,
Stop and do this brief meditation.
