When we experience anxiety,
Often we have become unbalanced.
Our energy lingers,
Oftentimes creating a feeling of unease and of not being grounded.
These breathing techniques that we will learn will help just that.
And you can use these techniques anytime to calm your heart rate and to feel more connected to our earth.
Energy knows where to go.
We must set the stage to allow that energy to go just where it needs to.
Sometimes that means letting energy go and creating space for new energy.
We must release that old energy to create space for new and we can do that.
We can do that together.
We can start by making space in our lungs.
We will be taking three deep cleansing breaths,
Making sure that your exhale is slower than your inhale.
I'll take a deep breath in all the way and feel your belly rise as your lungs expand.
Hold that and release slowly,
Slowly now.
Let that all go.
Take another deep breath in all the way in to the tips of your toes,
To the tips of your fingers,
To the top of your head.
Feel your whole body and release,
Slowly letting all of that go.
On this last breath,
See the sun in the sky and imagine breathing that light in.
Breathe in deeply all the way.
Feel your expand to your lungs and your belly with beautiful sunlight.
Hold that sunlight and release.
Keep that light with you.
You can use this grounding technique anytime you need to reset your mind and feel more present.
