Love Donald Altman. I used his work with clients decades ago and it never failed. He had fallen off of my radar and after hearing this I am so glad he’s back on. his work is timeless, and I was so valuable

Very helpful as a guidance to be aware of thoughts and emotions. When I'm stressed or tired I tend to shove negative thoughts to the background so they keep coming back. The counting technique has helped me a lot in the past, so thank you for the reminder. 🧘🙏

Nice review of two very relevant psychological models of change. It's wonderful to hear how elements from my own professional practice and training can be applied here (from someone outside my own self-talk). I will be continuing to watch for more in this series. Thank you for your work and for sharing it with us. I see the light in you. 🤲🏻❤️🤲🏻

Excellent points. I look forward to sharing this with my dietitian, as we work to find ways of training my body and mind to feel and actually respond to hunger. Food preparation has long been simply a tedium for me, and the process of eating as mindful as putting gas in a car's gas tank - a necessary but often unwelcome delay during our daily activities. I am working to change all of that to ensure I am doing what I can for optimal health. There are many options for weight loss, but few for situations like mine. I appreciate this session and look forward to hearing more. Thank you for sharing this with us here. I see the light in you. 🤲🏻❤️🤲🏻

A nice, simple reminder on the power of belly breathing. Good narration and simple music too. More instructive than contemplative in nature, but valuable instruction to have!

A good meditation that shares a helpful counting technique and way of looking at your own emotions from an outside perspective.
