In this guided meditation, we find rest for the body through our connection to the natural world. While the body is held by the earth, we travel inward to the garden of the heart to bathe in the sacred pool of the wellspring of our divinity. We then ask for any guidance from the spiritual world for this moment right now. We complete this journey by bringing the remembrance of our divine nature back with us to enliven the body. This meditation was recorded with a live group in a cedar grove.

Okay,

Let's just take some deep breaths.

And feel the clean air,

Cold air in through your nose,

Warm air out through your mouth.

Feel your body on the ground.

You feel the entire weight of the world supporting you from below.

And now is the perfect time to just rest in your body.

And feel your body resting on the earth.

And can feel the force of gravity holding us down to the earth.

We're held in perfect balance from the weight of the world below.

And the strength of gravity from above.

And as we rest in our bodies on the earth,

You can open up the root of the body.

Can feel your energetic roots growing from the bottom of your feet,

The base of your spine.

And they extend down into the earth.

You can feel them extending out into the world,

Connecting with all the other beings that are around you and living on this planet.

And as your roots come together and entangle,

They greet you with delight,

Reminding you that you're an integral part of this world.

You are all one.

And we can ask our brothers and sisters,

The trees,

The plants,

The grasses that grow,

To share some of their wisdom with us,

Our big brothers on the earth.

We need to know to be good members of this family.

And we can feel how much they love us and delight in us,

And they just ask for our love in return.

And let that love,

The boundless love of the earth and all the plant people come into you,

Flow into you from your roots.

It fills up your legs,

Wells up into the bowl of your pelvis.

It moves up the spine,

Into the belly,

Into the heart.

Fills up your lungs and pours down your shoulders,

Down your arms,

Out through your fingertips so that you can offer it to other people and beings around you.

And it continues up your neck,

Into your head,

And pours out through the crown.

You can feel what a joy it is to be held on this earth.

You can feel the balance of that too,

In through the crown,

An abundance of golden light that pours down on you.

As our body rests here in that perfect balance on the earth,

We can look inward to find that garden of our heart.

Find the doorway to your heart.

See it walked there before you.

And you know that you have the key.

Open it up,

Step inside.

Can lock it behind you if that feels safe.

Just rest knowing that this is a perfectly safe place for you.

Take some time to just explore what waits for you in the garden of your heart.

And as you explore,

You notice that the air becomes cooler around you.

The sun is setting.

You can see a sliver of moon.

And the night sky that is full of stars.

And you notice that there is a little secret path before you.

And as you follow it,

It leads you to a sacred pool.

And you know that this pool is fed from a deep,

Deep spring of the divine within you.

And if you want to,

You can gaze into the pool,

See a reflection back.

The reflection of yourself and your divinity.

And you might take a drink of the water.

You might just sit down by the side of the pool in a little soft bed of grass.

Or you might take off all your clothes and jump in.

However you want to be here,

Let this place tell you about the perfect and powerful and beautiful being that you are.

And when you feel ready,

Come out of the pool.

And follow it back out from this secret place.

And you come to a little clearing.

And there's tall,

Tall cedar trees around you.

But you can look up to the sky and see the stars.

And in this clearing,

Ask if any of the spirits want to come and meet you and have anything to tell you for this moment right now.

Thank you.

And whoever came to meet me,

I'll be there.

And whoever came to meet me,

When you're done speaking with them,

Give an offering of gratitude.

And even if no one came today,

You can offer gratitude to the earth.

And when you're ready,

Find your way back to the door,

The entrance of the Garden of Your Heart.

And you know you can always return to this place if you carry it with you.

And when you're ready,

You can step out and lock the door behind you and tuck the key away somewhere safe.

And we come back into our body,

But we bring with us the memory in ourselves that we are watching our divinity.

And let that memory come into your body.

Let it strengthen your connection through your roots.

Soften your belly.

Bring peace to your mind.

And let it strengthen your connection through your roots.
