Hey everyone, This is Pasquale. I'm Dr. Tracey. How's it going? So today we are going to talk about angel cards. We're going specific with angel cards or oracle cards and just because there are preference. I'm sorry, I can't get off of, Can I just say that before we do every recording he puts a new t-shirt on and he goes how does this look? It looks the same as the last ten t-shirts. They're different? This has a different vibration than the other shirt. So then I guess you need to ask me how does this feel? Because it looks the same. Okay anyway I'm sorry that's what we were just talking about. I couldn't stop laughing. Okay go ahead. No, No. So we're not here to talk about my shirt or shirts or the energy behind the shirt. That's another lesson. We are here to talk about angel cards and I think it's just the basics of hey I want to start connecting with my intuition. What's a good way to start? Right like ideally that's what we want to do with it. So I just recently started that and that's all. How's it going? Why do you look at me like that when you say that? Maybe there's something funny coming. Oh my gosh. So I just I have my deck of angel cards and I use it just pull one card and you know I'll ask for guidance and we're gonna go through that process for everybody to know like what to do and how to do it. But it's been it's really beneficial because I just kind of ask for guidance of you know what I need for that day or that week or what I what do I need for like a particular situation and it is really helpful. So I like it. It's also helped me in talking about energy and we did an episode on that and because when I try to do it when I when I did it in the beginning I would just take like a random just instinctually I would just pull a card or like if one popped out on its own I would just take that one and but now that I've been really working on strengthening my own intuition and really feeling energy I now like spread the cards out and I just put my hands over the cards and I kind of feel where and if one feels you know I feel where I feel that energy and that's what I pick and what I found is that since I've been doing that the card the guidance that I'm receiving is much more specific and it's been really cool to see that difference. Yeah I will tell you like I did actually I love that that's actually really amazing. I personally will tell you like you're going to find your own way in your own kind of method in doing it right just some of the basic I always have to go with basics yeah like right to the beginning right I'm at the store and I want to pick out a card or box cards or whatever right I always say connect with the ones that you have the most excitement with right if you've been practicing energy you can always feel the cards right because inanimate objects maintain things a lot of times your intuition can kind of guide you a little bit and so if you take a breath exactly what it's like colors on the colors of the cards or the box or like whatever it is you're drawing look at the card I always say that with everything even when people ask me for book recommendations I'm like I don't even want to give them them give them a recommendation because it's like just look and see what title or like that you're drawn to because that's obviously where you need to go next with your yeah I think that's great I will tell you like I have so many different stories about this but like for me it's it's what you're drawn to what you're most attached to and where you feel your energy kind of pops right your energy starts popping it's probably the right deck you know you kind of look at and go just skip it move past it right like it's not gonna work like but it's the truth right like I mean I have done that like and no offense to anyone but like I don't connect to everything I have my own kind of like thing you know and and what I have found is is once I find one it's really hard for me to find a new one and so I've always I always get decks I always play with decks I would get new ones and I will tell you for me it's just about the energy of it like am I connecting do I feel like I get it it makes sense for me and if it's a yes then I start using it right um and I think we all have our own process but like finding the deck is a good one second thing I always tell people to do is when they get the deck is take a minute and just look at every single card before you do anything just look at it oh my ADHD light just went into overdrive I want to leave right so hard I need to run away I know this is why this is why because you by looking at it you're actually connecting with it right and here's kind of like the advanced quick version of it is is that by looking at it you're actually giving your guides or intuition kind of a glimpse of what they're going to be looking at pictures what are they available options of the guidance it starts to get you to get this connection with them and so just start looking at them go through them I mean it's 52 it'll take you less than a minute like less than an hour like 30 minutes maybe max I don't know I never timed it I don't know I don't know don't do 52 seconds it's this is not going to work this is not gonna connect but slow like look at the picture because you bought it right appreciate what you bought enjoy the art of it like just spend some time with it there are some really beautiful it starts to connect with your energy right it's totally art I love them I love love love them I have I have like a box of decks that I don't ever use I should probably start giving them away um or raffling them or something I don't know um but like it's such a big thing right is just to look at each of them I personally once I do that I then clean them so I'll take like sage pale santo anything kind of like just a cleaning agent just to get kind of a store and things spray cleansing spray works I don't like to use liquid on a card but like just take a second and just cleanse up right you want to do that with anything you bring from the store house especially if it is something spiritual like I all like crystals or even jewelry that has crystals and I mean everything yeah pretty much everything anything that you're going to energetically connect with just clear it right cuz like here's the thing it was printed people touched it boxed it people looked at it in the store all that energy is kind of there so once you kind of look at it because you want to kind of get the deck to get some air right by moving it just take a second and just take the dad go to the side and just let it kind of go around and just kind of clean it right okay then what I would do personally I sleep with it I literally put it under my pillow sleep with it under my pillow and just lay there and sleep I do it for three nights okay so what can you explain what the purpose is of that you know my understanding and my kind of version of this is is that when you're sleeping right your spirits kind of open and you're not you're just not there right like you're in this like peaceful state and you're releasing and letting go yeah and you're okay this is a time when your energy is really blending with those cards right I also believe like I will tell you for my own personal like guardian angels your guides they start to connect with them too right and so it's really is a tool that helps you kind of move through it and connect with it right when you're using the cards I always look at it like for me it's not just me pulling the card when I'm pulling a card I'm actually incorporating everything that well you are asking for well at least well everybody can do it differently but I'm asking for their guidance yeah so it makes sense I'm trying to sense which one am I supposed to pick yeah from that they're signaling me so yeah you have to look at it this way right you can use the universe who's God God is you can use that because guides angels watchers anything works your own intuition your higher self you don't even have to believe in you need to just get that energy to start so for me I sleep with them for three nights okay I'm not sure my experience but I I sleep with them for three nights and every time I sleep with them I won't lie every time I sleep with them it's three nights of really not sleeping like I don't know what it is but like my energy just like I start seeing things to start feeling things like I don't sleep well sometimes but with these cards so different because I'm like oh my god get them out and then they're good well so then I also was taught like to also just keep them close to you so they're in my nightstand by my bed all right and so they're supposed to be able to like just keep that energy yeah and so there's some people that say like don't allow other people to touch your cards and or don't use your cards for other people if like they're like oh I want to pull a card you know like to pull a card for them how do you feel about that so personally I would tell you like when you're first starting I think it's always best to practice on yourself right like it's something that I've done throughout my entire life right oh I just learned about energy and you're gonna go and use energy to help yourself with you know fear I'm gonna practice that for me and really understand what that means before I start telling other people to try it right I think it's the same with cards yeah same with energy same with crystals like you want to make sure you have a fundamental understanding before you're giving a reading in my opinion yeah um I I will tell you the the touching thing I don't care if other people touch my cards I don't prefer it especially because my my my I have two decks are like real old or student one super used once real old and if people touch them they can rip them and I don't like that right like but that's just me being kind of I thought it was like because they can pick up their energy too and then you have to like recleanse it and stuff like that so I you yes but you're picking up someone's energy and you're reading them so you're kind of reading I'm just talking about like just the average person and you know they're like oh I want to see or oh can I pull a card you know for myself I'm not talking about I think after the first three days they're yours in my opinion in my opinion I think that they're super connected like but no I mean it's what you'd like yeah I mean some there are some people out there they're like you cannot touch my cards right but there are people out there that shuffle them right you know what I mean like I want you to shuffle I mean I will tell you for me with my kids like they always kind of me like oh I need a car and I'm like all right so I'll prepare them and I'll be like pick one right and they get to pick it pull it out you know so it just depended on you right and where you are personally after every time I use them I kind of cancel clear release any energy that I've put in them before I put them away right so I thank them for their help and we will probably get to that but okay like I think it's it's important to just recognize that it's your preference right it's where you want to go with it I don't think there's a really big if there was something that I would like well that's the great thing about spirituality is there's no right or wrong it's just what you want to feel right and so this is this too and you know every episode that we do is just really about having guidance and a place to start our opinions right right it's our experiences that we're sharing and I think that's the key right personally I don't mind okay so what would be the next step so after you sleep with them I will tell you so there's a lot of beliefs out there right um I am NOT a believer in reading book the guidebook that there's a guidebook that comes with the decks yes yeah I'm not a believer in this I don't believe in reading it I believe you're also professional no I did this even when I was younger even when I first started I couldn't stand it even when you were younger but my first deck I didn't like looking at the book because it's you could feel it you could get the information but you can't do because you're intuitive we all can do it but I'll show you how I'll show you how I'll show you I'll explain it I'll explain it my I mean I think that there's a place for it right okay so you get the deck and I actually have a prop so I'm super excited about this one cuz I get to use a prop and you can see they're mildly used but like so like when you're first using them right you're gonna look at every card you're gonna sleep under them and then when you're done you're ready right and the biggest thing I will tell you when it comes to cards of any form angel oracle tarot whatever you want to do right even runes like it's all good but always document what you do you need the proof the proof loop is so important right it just helps you recognize that what you're predicting or what you're stating or what you're asking for is real right it's the proof that is the number one thing and we talked about this in almost every episode is we stand in our own way because our thoughts don't agree with what we feel well we question ourselves we doubt ourselves or we know it's true but then it's hard to tell somebody after the fact so like even with dreams I'll be like okay I need to tell you this now because when I tell you it happened later I need you to believe me you don't want to tell them after the fact it's a lot less believable I will tell you so I once wrote I once did one of these early on really early I'm not professional I was with some friends and I had a really strong kind of intuitive hit on someone and I was like but I can't tell you because they're telling me I can't so I was like but I'm gonna write you a letter and I'm gonna give it to you and I will tell you when you're gonna open it right and and it was like it was a really important moment in this person's life and when that moment happened because I knew it was around the corner I was like open it today right and it fit with what was happening in that time. Where's my letter? I don't get any of it. I'm just kidding. You'll get a letter. I have a couple in mind. I ask him like every day I see him I'm like is Tink here? That's my dog that passed away. Is Tink here? Do you see Tink? He's like no. We don't talk to pets. No I'm just kidding. That's all I care about is Tink. Um no I'll tell you one of my mentors one of my favorite things that he said was he likes to have like paper with him it's hard for me with paper I don't know why I always try and when I go deep I need paper but in some moments I don't but he always has paper with him and if he feels something he'll write it right and and he doesn't ever show his paper he doesn't ever let anyone see it right most most intuitives don't right because it's for them yeah the way they're processing the intuition right but like if they say the word or feeling that he wrote he'll always show this is what I picked up oh yeah and it's just kind of that proof right but like it's important to have it proof loops are important yeah and so just like we talked about a couple days ago or weeks ago about energy yeah right same thing date and then you're ready to pull cards right and so this could be your third thing in that list right number one is how am I feeling number two is what does the energy feel like number three is I pulled a card right now pulling cards there's a couple ways you can shuffle decks you can do the old-fashioned way right kind of my preferred way when it comes to not me when it's a reading that's not for me I typically will shuffle them like this and this is just because for me I'm now when I do this I'm actually like I'm connecting and then so I'm going it's just a way for me to connect almost like I'm dialing a number it's kind of how I see it right but you can also it's hard to do this with with just me being here so I'm gonna do it with like just a couple you can also I've seen people do this where they just throw them out and then they pull them together you can do the the text I'm holding away I don't even know yeah I can't even do it but it doesn't happen I will break them and hurt someone probably or you can just literally just like lay them out right and and all those ways are fine yeah there's it's what you're doing but what's important is is that when you are doing this the first step is again out of your mind no feeling no thought right you're in that space where you're where you're where you're sorry I'm so sorry I know something just came to you it's almost like people are predicting that I'm going to start doing a reading we're not doing a reading we're not doing a reading we are simply explaining but so like what we're gonna do is like before you start it you need to clear your energy right clear yourself release any of your thoughts connect with your feeling right yeah and then when you start to shuffle the deck whether it's actual shuffle like this pull them out mix them up so that they're like all over I have actually heard people throw them in the air but I don't actually recommend that that's called 52 card pickup just doesn't feel right to me sister used to play all the time to me when I was little or this way what you want to be doing is in your mind you want to be like I always do thank you angels for revealing what I need to know right because we're talking about me right so thank you for angels for revealing what I need to know thank you higher self for sharing what I need to know but I always believe that you start with a thank you because you want your power to be centered to the moment right now not tomorrow not next week right now so always start with a thank you and also hey be nice thank you for helping me right like thank you for being here with me like it's great but thank you angels that you guys thank God thank you anyone ascended master you could pick who you want right so I'll say I don't feel connected looking for guidance for my highest good yeah for my greatest good you got that man yeah well I'll say that in the beginning too because I want like the message to be coming from something that is sure or my greatest good I think that there's no wrong way to invoke it right I think like that's a great I've actually heard people say that like where it's like you know thank you for showing me what I need to know for today but and what we're talking about today too is just pulling one card just for guidance in some area of our life we are not talking about reading for others we're talking about like yeah just we're just talking about one card and and so it can get it gets it's complicated we'll totally we're just gonna we're gonna actually do one card right and so like we're gonna shuffle them we're gonna think it and you have to kind of come with what your idea of who or what you want to connect with and if you're not sure and you're starting out I'm gonna tell you easiest one thank you for revealing what I need to know you don't even need to state of what who or anything just thank you what I need to know today right and that works because remember first off you're not gonna do yourself harm right like so don't have to worry about for your good because it's gonna be good right second is is that they're not gonna reveal something that's like oh my god don't get on the freeway it's a car it's a car there's no card right like there's no freeway car I have yet to see that although we should probably print one but no like like it's not gonna happen right so it's always gonna be like for you in this moment right and so you want to make it be that way right and then when you're ready pull it out feel it pull it whatever pull a card when you get the card only one card look at it and try and define what the card is right so like this one is balance right when you look at it what do you see I see someone who is in perfect harmony everything is exactly the same right and so what it tells me is oh you know what I'm gonna write balance right and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to take a minute I'm gonna be like okay what do I need to know about balance today I'm just gonna let it just come through right and whatever you feel right right so like automatic writing exactly the journaling just of what balance means to you and how you can apply balance in your life currently yes and just kind of feel it and then once you have that and you're done with it if you want to look at the book to say am I right you can but you're probably right well so I would do both so I would look at the book for what it says and then but you still want to apply it to your life so even if you are using the book you still want to you know do a little bit of journaling of like how what that means for you know me and my life right now yeah but and the thing is is remember in that moment when you pulled the card were you thinking about a part of your life right because it depends so and that's so I will either focus on something okay what do I need for today what do I need what is the guidance I need for like this week or even this month or I could have or I could say what do I need for you know in terms of work or my marriage my kids my yeah like a specific area of life but just what I do yeah but I will ask for that that I'll ask for that specifically and and write it down like if that's I think the key is just recognize you're asking what you need to know today in this moment right right now now a couple just little things if you're shuffling and a card goes flying just remember we those cards are significant because they mean something extra so you still have to pull a card right a flying card is typically someone's trying to get your attention and they're trying to say like boom boom boom this is big right I was just no your guys are like she's doing it again and it's totally okay but like so a flying card is always a good one if a card is upside down in an Oracle sense for me an upside down card means pay extra attention okay right in tarot means the opposite of the card but in Oracle for me anytime it's up to down just pay extra attention so when it was a card that I like really connected to and I was like oh and I wanted like a reminder like it was a really positive motivating card I would I would take that single card and put it like maybe like I have like a rose quartz crystal or something and I would put it on my nightstand as that visual reminder before and then like after a day or so I'll add it back to the deck but is that I that's what I would do in the beginning I would leave the card out and somewhere like nightstand somewhere where you see it it was good to do that yeah um here's the catch I'm just gonna point this out because it's the common thing that people do you pull a card and you look at and you go I don't like it so you put it back and reshuffle you can't do that that is not how it works that card is for you don't try to change and and the reason you don't want to is is the minute you do that what you're doing is you're basically telling your intuition your guides whomever that you don't trust them and so now your readings will become less it's better to say I need clarity on what that card means then to say no that's not for me and I know that I've done that in the beginning I was always like the death you know and I don't want that one but it means transition most of the time it doesn't literally mean something changes coming it's not a bad card but an angel card it's hard to feel because I'm talking so I'm in my head too so it's hard to feel I don't even need to talk I have nothing to say my job is done listening my card said take a step back so these guys literally don't like me they're saying oh back off they aren't yours you asked the question um but the other thing is is I always encourage it's super important is is when you're documenting it after you write what you're feeling is right you go the next day and you pull another card before you pull another card at the beginning of the next day or whenever you typically do it so if you typically pull it 9 a. M. And 9 9 a. M. The next day do it if you pull it at 3 p. M. 3 p. M. The next day pull it right but like go back to that card the original right written thing that you wrote and ask yourself does this apply to me yesterday right because it it should right and so you need to look at in hindsight looking back to getting yesterday's validating yourself and then what I always do is and I always encourage is like when you know that it's a validating yes put a heart next to it put a star next to it acknowledge that I did read this or say thank you thank you for sure right but like you want to make sure to prove to yourself that you're not just wasting my time throwing cards in the air I'm actually helping myself right and that's the key right the objective of this lesson is how do I pull a card to help myself today all right comment below let us know what you pulled let us know how it works and we will chat soon bye bye
