Welcome to this meditation of transformational healing.

Find yourself a quiet,

Comfortable space where you won't be disturbed,

And you can get yourself lovely and comfortable.

This is your time just for you,

Nothing for you to do,

Nowhere you need to be.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,

And allow your body and mind to start the process of relaxation.

This meditation is called Rising from the Ashes,

Designed to help you release old wounds and pain,

And embracing a powerful sense of emotional strength and renewal.

Noticing every breath,

Allowing you to feel a little deeper relaxed,

Ever more calm and ever more comfortable.

Imagine yourself in a peaceful and secluded spot in nature.

It could be a serene forest clearing,

Or a tranquil lakeside,

Or anywhere at all.

Picture the beauty of this place in vivid detail.

The colours,

The textures,

The sounds,

The smells.

Now become aware of a small pile of ashes before you.

These ashes symbolise any emotional wounds,

Past hurts,

Or painful memories that you carry within you.

Take a moment to acknowledge these ashes without judgement.

They are a part of your past,

They are part of your journey,

But they do not define you.

As you breathe deeply and intentionally,

Imagine a gentle and warm wind starting to blow through this peaceful place.

This wind represents your inner strength,

Your capacity to heal and transform.

With each breath,

The wind stirs the ashes,

Lifting them into the air.

Watch as these ashes rise higher and higher with each breath,

Carried by the wind.

See them scatter and disperse until they are no longer a heavy burden,

But are now particles of light and freedom.

You may notice that as the ashes disperse,

They create a beautiful and colourful display in the sky,

A vibrant phoenix rising from the ashes.

This phoenix represents your own transformation,

Your ability to rise above adversity and pain.

As you gaze at this majestic bird,

Feel a sense of awe and inspiration.

The phoenix is a symbol of renewal,

Strength and resilience,

Just as you are.

You are not defined by your past wounds,

But by your capacity to rise from them,

Transformed and renewed.

Now imagine yourself standing before the phoenix,

Feeling its radiant warmth and energy.

See it now,

And sense the healing power that it emanates.

You are invited to reach out and touch the phoenix,

To absorb its transformative energy into your being.

Feel this energy filling you with renewed strength,

Courage and a deep sense of self-compassion.

And as you do,

Visualise any lingering wounds or pain within you dissolving into the same vibrant light that surrounds the phoenix.

Know that you are not alone on this journey.

The phoenix is always with you,

A symbol of your inner strength and your ability to transform and heal.

Take a few magical moments to sit in the presence of the phoenix,

Absorbing its energy and allowing your own transformation to deepen.

Know that you carry the transformative power of the phoenix within you.

You have the strength to rise from the ashes of the past and embrace a future filled with resilience and hope.

When you are ready,

And only when you are ready,

You can take a deep breath and slowly bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.

Feel the energy within your fingers and toes,

And when you feel like it,

You can open your eyes.
