Welcome to your guided grounding meditation.
Before we begin,
Find a comfortable seated position.
If this isn't possible,
It's fine to lie down.
Now,
Taking three deep breaths,
Inhaling through the nose,
Letting your ribcage expand,
Pausing at the top of the breath,
Then gently exhaling through the mouth,
And pausing.
And again taking a deep breath in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
Once more inhaling deeply,
And exhaling all the way.
Returning to a natural breathing rhythm,
And taking your focus to the top of your head.
Imagining here a white ball of relaxing energy.
And this energy slowly starting to expand,
Flowing over your head,
Relaxing every muscle in your head.
Using your face,
Your ears,
Your jaw and your neck.
Breathing over your shoulders,
And through your upper arms,
Relaxing every muscle as it goes.
Through your forearms,
Your hands,
And your fingers.
Feeling it moving over your chest,
Relaxing your ribs,
And your stomach.
Now feeling it flowing down through your spine,
Relaxing every muscle in your back.
And spreading through your hips,
Your buttocks,
And down through your thighs.
Your knees,
Your lower legs,
And your feet.
All the way through to the tips of your toes.
This energy now rooting you firmly to the ground.
Extending out of your feet like tree roots.
And these roots are growing down,
Breaking through the crust of the earth.
Traveling through the mantle,
Through every layer of the earth,
All the way to the core.
And as your roots extend into the core of the earth,
Imagining here a beautiful meadow.
Just calming and peaceful.
You feel pure love here.
Now your roots implanting themselves strongly into the meadow.
Golden warm healing sunbeams shining down and nourishing everything the light touches,
Including your roots.
Your roots beginning to soak in this nourishment.
Breathing all the way back up through the earth layers and up into your feet.
The golden light spreading throughout your entire body.
Working with this beautiful energy for a moment as it moves through you.
Warming every cell,
Every fiber of your being.
Feeling this nourishing energy flowing through your body.
When you feel ready,
Placing the palms of your hands onto the floor and returning any excess old or stagnant energy back to the earth.
Here it will be transmuted into pure healing energy.
And once again inhaling deeply through the nose,
Pausing at the top of the breath and exhaling through the mouth,
Letting it all go.
Exhaling through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth.
Once more taking a deep breath in and out,
Letting go all the way.
Bringing your breathing to a natural rhythm.
Beginning to wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers.
Simply bringing your attention back to the space that you're in.
Your guided meditation is now complete.
