Before you attempt to sleep,
Allow yourself to arrive.
Gently settle your body,
Let your hands rest comfortably,
Allow your legs to soften,
Let your jaw unclench,
Let the tongue rest naturally in the mouth,
Feel the weight of your body being supported.
There is nothing to hold up,
Nothing to perform,
Nothing to achieve.
Before we settle into the body,
There is something important to understand.
Sometimes our psychology becomes disturbed and our dreams can leave behind an energetic residue when we wake up.
We may rise feeling heavy,
Unsettled,
Unclear.
Even if this happens occasionally,
It deserves some attention.
When you fall asleep,
Manifestation does not stop.
In fact,
It becomes uninterrupted.
During the day,
Your attention is divided.
At night,
The unconscious works continuously.
This makes it very powerful.
If you take control of your bedtime rituals and consciously prepare your inner state before sleep,
You can prevent unnecessary psychological disturbance and the physiological consequences that follow.
Resting well and living well are deeply connected.
So before you sleep,
Consider a few foundations and establish simple disciplines.
Do not mix sleeping and eating.
Finish eating at least three hours before bed.
Do not sleep in a disorderly space.
Before bed,
Organize what you have used throughout the day.
Dispose of rubbish,
Clean your dishes,
Return belongings to their place,
Prepare what you will wear tomorrow.
A clean environment supports a clear mind.
Do not sleep dehydrated.
A glass of water before bed supports restoration.
Do not sleep unclean.
A lukewarm shower can reset your mood and physiology.
Turn off your electronic devices or place them on Do Not Disturb mode.
Reduce unnecessary stimulation and subtle energetic interference.
When your devices are quiet,
Your mind can follow.
Lighting a small oil lamp or candle can serve as a symbolic cleansing,
A quiet fire ritual for your system.
And avoid sleeping with your head facing the North in the Northern Hemisphere and South in the Southern Hemisphere,
As this can subtly stimulate the brain when it should be resting.
These are not superstitions.
They are ways of taking responsibility for your unconscious state.
Now,
Take a slow breath in through the nose and gently exhale through your mouth with a sigh.
Inhale slowly.
Exhale softly.
Exhale for six.
One,
Two,
Three.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale.
This signals to the nervous system that it is safe to rest.
Effortless.
Now,
Let us settle.
Allow your body to soften.
Hands resting.
Feel the support beneath you.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Look at the last 24 hours.
Was this day lived consciously?
Did you live to the best of your ability?
Without judgment,
Simply observe.
Look at the last 24 hours.
Was this day lived consciously?
Did you live to the best of your ability?
Without judgment,
Simply observe.
Now,
Gently gather everything from today.
Every role.
Every mask.
Every interaction.
Every success.
Every conversation.
Every desire.
Every fear.
Every hope.
Every thought about who you are.
And place them beside you.
This body is earth,
Water,
Air,
Borrowed from this planet.
I do not need to overly identify with my thought process.
Thoughts pass like weather across an open sky.
I do not need to overly identify with my emotional landscape.
Emotions rise and dissolve like waves in the ocean.
Not my profession.
Not my relationships.
Not my reputation.
I am not even my past,
Nor am I my imagined future.
All of these are movements within something larger.
Now,
I invite you to widen your sense of identity.
Before your name.
Before your story.
There is a simple existence.
The same intelligence that moves galaxies moves breath within you.
The same vastness that holds stars holds your heartbeat.
You are not a troubled mind in a fragile body.
You are life itself appearing as this moment.
Let the small narrative dissolve.
Let the cosmic perspective open.
Your daily concerns are tiny waves on an immeasurable ocean.
Rest as the ocean.
Step out of physiological tension.
Step out of psychological noise.
You are not the turbulence.
You are the space in which it occurs.
Feel your body resting.
You are safe here.
If sleep comes before this guidance ends,
Allow it.
If thoughts arise,
Let them pass.
You are safe here.
You are entering stillness.
Stillness is already here.
Let the soundscape carry you.
Rest in this field of sound.
You are safe here.
You are entering stillness.
Stillness is already here.
Let the soundscape carry you.
Rest in this field of sound.
You are safe here.
Stillness is already here.
Let the soundscape carry you.
Rest in this field of sound.
You are safe here.
Let the soundscape carry you.
