So.

What is meditation?
Meditation is one of those words that almost everyone has heard of yet.
Many people are still unsure what it actually means.
Creating such solid conclusions about it in their mind that it's no longer a possibility for them.
Don't do that!
Some people think meditation is about stopping thoughts.
Others think it's about relaxation,
Stress relief,
Trying to clear the mind.
While all of these are benefits of meditation,
They are not really the essence of it.
At its core,
Meditation is about becoming more conscious of your experience.
Right now your experience of life is being generated through your body.
Your mind,
Your emotions,
And your energy.
Most people become so identified with these processes that they become unable to realize that they are even happening.
They are stuck with them.
There's no room.
If a thought arises,
They become the thought.
If an emotion arises,
They become the emotion.
If anxiety arises,
They become anxious.
Meditation creates a spacious existence because true meditation is always tethered to the practice of seeing clearly.
Seeing with cosmic eyes as a human being requires commitment.
One way to see everything as it is,
Is to become meditative.
Create space between you and what is happening within you and you can begin to notice that you can observe a thought without becoming lost in it.
You can experience an emotion without it being overwhelming.
You can sit with discomfort without immediately reacting.
This simple shift can be profoundly transformative.
As awareness grows,
People naturally experience greater clarity,
Peace,
Balance,
And freedom in their daily lives.
Now it's important to understand that meditation is not about becoming somebody different.
It is about becoming more intimate with who you already are.
It is not about escaping life.
It is about learning to experience life more consciously.
If you're new to meditation,
Don't worry about it being perfect.
It doesn't need to be perfect.
Simply sit comfortably.
Gentle attention to your breath.
And just notice what is happening within you.
The practice begins not when the mind becomes silent,
But when you become fully willing to observe it.
That's meditation.
Meditation is not about changing who you are.
It is about seeing clearly what you are not.
The moment you can observe your experience rather than being consumed by it,
A new possibility for your life begins.
