Relax And Ease Your Mind

This is a gentle, quick practice that can be done any time of day to help you relax. In this guided meditation we'll use the breath to gently ease the mind, find stillness and enjoy a few moments of peace.

Find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down and gently close your eyes.

Start to shift your attention onto your breathing taking slow deep breaths.

See if you can inhale through your nose and slowly let it out through your mouth.

Continue the slow deep breathing giving yourself permission to relax.

As you continue breathing maybe you notice your shoulders start to drop away from your ears.

You release the tension you're holding in your jaw.

Drop your tongue away from the roof of your mouth.

Continue to soften,

Relax and breathe.

Inhaling through your nose and slowly letting it out through your mouth.

Start to imagine a soft warm glow radiating outward from the center of your heart spreading a comforting warm feeling throughout your whole body.

Imagine the soft easy peaceful feeling just radiating love.

Give yourself permission here to find that sense of inner peace.

When you're ready you can start to wiggle the fingers,

Wiggle the toes just bringing some movement back into the body and gently open your eyes if you'd like or just stay here and relax into this moment.

Give yourself as much time as you need.
