My name is Brenna Ricci and today's mantra meditation is short and sweet.
We are going to take two minutes to practice So Hum Breathing.
And so if you only have two minutes,
This is perfect for you to become fully present with yourself.
And if you're feeling that you're struggling with your longer meditations,
Perhaps practicing this meditation ten times a day will get you your 20 minutes.
Sometimes that's all it takes is only two minutes.
So sitting up nice and tall,
I invite you to come in and notice your posture.
Lengthening up out of the spine,
Finding the tip of your tongue and anchoring it to the roof of your mouth.
Lifting the sternum forward,
Letting your heart shine,
Letting a gentle smile appear on your face as you shift the shoulders up,
Back,
And down.
Starting to come in towards your sit bones.
I invite you to close the eyes.
And when you're ready,
Finding your breath.
Exhaling out all your air.
Take an inhale in and telling yourself,
So.
And exhaling out,
Hum.
Inhale,
So.
Exhale,
Hum.
Inhale,
So.
Exhale,
Hum.
Inhale,
So.
Exhale,
Hum.
Inhale,
So.
Exhale,
Hum.
Continuing on with your inhale,
Followed by its own natural exhale,
Just like this,
Staying fully present.
Lengthening out of the crown.
Rooting down in your sit bones.
Feeling relaxed and ready to take on the rest of the day.
Wherever you're at,
Wrapping up your last round.
And then slowly releasing your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
Releasing your hands.
Gently opening your eyes.
Starting to look out with a soft gaze,
Staying relaxed.
And taking a bigger,
Deeper breath for yourself.
And followed by another.
