Be comfortable in your space,
Close your eyes down gently Take a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Bring your awareness to the feeling of your breath.
Feel the rise and fall of your body as you breathe in and breathe out.
As you breathe,
Begin to pay attention to the area of the heart.
Feel your heart awakening and calming with each breath,
Embracing the presence of your heart here in this moment.
Now,
Bring your awareness to yourself and directing loving-kindness phrases towards yourself.
Repeat the phrases silently in your mind.
