Let's begin this meeting by inviting a sense of calm and relaxation into your body.
Sitting comfortably with a straight spine,
Close your eyes,
Tune into your breath,
Noticing your normal breath without trying to change it.
With each breath allow yourself to sink a little more deeply into your seat.
Now take a moment to appreciate all of the people who are joining you today in this meeting.
Some you may know well,
Some you may not know at all.
Reflect on the skills and positive qualities that other people are bringing into this meeting.
Bring gratitude for everybody that is here and taking some time to reflect on the attitude that you want to bring forward into this meeting.
What kind of mindset would you like to bring?
Can you set an intention now to bring a positive mindset forward for the duration of the meeting?
And allowing yourself to be still and quiet.
And take a few full deep breaths.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
It might be the first chance you've had today to be still.
And we're going to start to return to your normal breath.
Feeling your feet on the ground,
Rolling your shoulders up and back and down.
Gently opening your eyes and taking a moment to make eye contact with the other people that are here in the meeting.
Perhaps bringing a smile.
