Good morning.
This meditation is best practised while still lying in bed and before you start your day.
This transition period between sleep and the dawning of a new day is a magical time.
In these moments we are going to do what we can to set a good expectation for a good day.
We will do that by setting a positive intention.
Ultimately everybody just wants to be happy and healthy.
Yet so often we sabotage this through negative thinking,
Feelings of unhappiness and worrying about the past or the future.
By taking a few moments now we will set an intention which acts as a foundation for your day before any of the negative thoughts get a chance to take hold.
We will do this by repeating some phrases.
But before we get started let's take a moment to just lie here,
Supported by the bed,
Lying on your back with your arms by your side if that's comfortable for you.
Take a deep breath in and feel the various sensations in your body.
Even in the stillness feel the energy moving within your body.
Without changing anything really pay attention to what's happening in your body this morning.
Allow the breath to move through you filling up any areas where you can feel tension.
Exhaling deeply and releasing that tension allowing it to soften.
Take a few deep breaths here.
Making sure you're fully comfortable.
And if it's available to you this morning repeat the affirmation out loud.
Into the quietness of this morning bring your own intention for today.
My life is good today.
Allowing your face to smile and your body to relax.
My life is good today.
Keeping a connection with your physical senses.
My life is good today.
Allow the breath to be steady and calm.
My life is good today.
Noticing if feelings come up about the day that lies ahead of you.
My life is good today.
Noticing if there are judgments about how maybe today might not be good.
My life is good today.
Allowing whatever comes up to come up.
My life is good today.
And if you don't like saying the phrase notice the resistance to that too.

Remembering to smile.
My life is good today.
Paying particular attention to the area around your heart.
My life is good today.
Not just saying words,
Really connecting to them.
My life is good today.
Now bring to mind the activities that lie ahead of you.
My life is good today.
Inclining your mind towards the positive.
My life is good today.
Noticing if thinking of the day ahead brings any tension into your body.
My life is good today.
Using the phrase as an anchor to stabilize your busy mind.
My life is good today.
Anchoring your mind when thoughts get a little stormy.
My life is good today.
Aligning yourself with fun and positivity.
My life is good today.
Deciding to focus on what makes you feel good.
My life is good today.
Practicing the path of least resistance.
My life is good today.
Letting go of fear.
Focusing on love.
My life is good today.
Allowing a smile.
My life is good today.
Feeling calmness and any other sensations within your body.

Feeling abundance and gratitude coming towards you.
