Hi,

I'm Jo the Inner Healing Empath and this is a grounding and shielding meditation.

This meditation will help empaths feel grounded in their energy field.

I invite you to sit or lie down in a quiet space.

If you feel comfortable,

Close your eyes.

If not,

Take a soft gaze down towards the floor.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your belly and exhale gently through your mouth.

Let yourself release with each breath,

Breathing in through your nose and exhaling out through your mouth.

As you breathe deeply,

Begin to feel the weight of your body against the surface beneath you.

Notice how it supports you completely,

Holding you steady.

Now bring your awareness to the soles of your feet.

Imagine roots growing from the bottom of your feet,

Slowly extending down into the earth.

These roots grow deeper and deeper,

Moving through layers of soil,

Stone and earth,

Anchoring you to the core of the planet.

Feel the earth's energy,

The warm,

Nurturing light,

Travelling up through the roots,

Into your feet,

Up your legs and into your entire body.

With every inhale,

This grounding energy fills you,

Bringing stability and calm.

Now visualize a bubble of light forming around you.

Choose a color that feels protective and comforting,

Such as blue,

Gold,

White or perhaps a shimmering rainbow.

See this bubble growing larger,

Surrounding your entire body,

From the top of your head to below your feet.

This bubble acts as a shield.

It allows loving and positive energy to flow in,

But keeps out negativity and anything that doesn't serve your highest good.

Rest in this safe space for a moment,

Feeling calm and at ease.

Enjoy the feeling of being in this bubble,

Feeling safe,

Feeling calm and feeling at ease.

If you feel any heaviness or tension,

Imagine it leaving your body,

With every exhale dissolving into the earth,

Where it is transformed into neutral energy.

Now take a moment to silently repeat,

I am grounded.

I am protected.

I am at peace.

When you feel ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the room and back to the present.

Wiggle your toes,

Wiggle your fingers and open your eyes.
