Welcome to Life, Lessons, And Laughter with your host, Glenn Ambrose. Hey everybody, Welcome to the show. Wait, It almost looks like I have like a bluish tint going on. I don't know, Maybe not. Anywho, Those of you watching the video, You may see a bluish tint that I don't exactly know what that is, But here we are. You know, We just have to accept it. How's that for a segue? How's that for a segue on a podcast entitled Radical Acceptance? So, You know, Well, I guess we'll see how this goes. I think this could be a very helpful and important podcast. Hopefully. Hopefully. You know, It's, You guys know that I like to go deep, You know, Go deep with the spirituality, Really get to the core of things. And that's what served me fairly well over the years. So, You know, Even with my own journey, I'm constantly trying to go deeper. And to me, It's just how things work. You know, Like, When I look at things, And I'm trying different things, But they're not quite working, Or things start getting very complicated, Then to me, It's, I just have to go deeper, Because the truth is very simple. You know, If you want to get closer to the truth, You simplify, You want to get further from the truth, You complicate. So if this seems like there's, There's tons of things you have to do, Or you're doing tons of things, And they're not working, It's, To me, That's a sign that we have to go deeper, And become more simple, Right? So along that train of thought, There's been lots of talk forever, You know, From sages and prophets and, You know, Anywhere you can get spiritual insight, There has been people talking about the necessity of gaining control over, I don't know if gaining control is the right term, But I'm using it for now, Gaining control over the thinking mind and the emotions. And anybody that's tried to do that, That's extremely difficult, You know, Meditation helps, Because that puts you more in control of your mind. So when you tell your mind to slow down, It'll actually know what you're talking about. Because it's done it, It's, It's learned how to slow down through your meditation practice, Right? So, You know, That's, That's beneficial. It's beneficial for your thinking mind, It's also been beneficial for your emotions. You become more even keeled in the long term, And you're more peaceful in the moment, So blah, Blah, Blah. So, You know, These are helpful things. What I'm talking about today is, Is basically a form of non judgment. And the way I'm gonna kind of step into this is, If you're, If you're constantly judging things, Then you're going to be on an emotional roller coaster, Most likely, Because usually, If you're if you're judging things, And I judging is different than assessing, You know, Judging is labeling something good or bad. Assessing is just determining whether it's your preference or not. You know, So like, If, If I try a food, And I go, No, I'd rather not eat this food again. That's just a preference. That's an assessment. That's just, There's nothing wrong with that. But if I say, Oh, My God, This food is disgusting, Then that's a judgment. It's not disgusting to everybody. Probably wouldn't be disgusting to somebody that was starving. You know, So, So that's not actually true. That's just, That's a judgment and is labeling as good or bad. So we can still have our assessments, You know, What my preference is, But that's not really that big of a deal. Right? It's who cares? Who cares? Like, You don't really have to defend your preference if it's just a preference. You know, If somebody says, You know, You're like, Oh, Well, I don't particularly like this food. And somebody is like, Well, That's stupid. Like, Are you really going to defend yourself? You know, Because I don't really care if you think it's stupid that I don't like the food. Like, I don't like meatloaf. Do you know how many times people have made me meatloaf? And how many times I've heard people say, Yes, But you haven't had my meatloaf. I'm like, Okay, So I try it. I'm like, No, I don't like that either. You know, And people are shocked. It's funny. I stopped doing that many years ago. With meatloaf. But yeah, So so I mean, I'm not like if somebody says I'm a moron, Because I don't like meatloaf, I'm not going to get into an argument about them. Because obviously, They're, They're either fooling around, Or they're out of their mind. Because if you think there's a human being is is like a bad person, Or crazy, Or negative, Or there's something wrong with a human being because they don't like particular food. Obviously, You're out of your mind. So that's the difference between so we can still have our preferences, But we have to. But if we stop the judgments, Then, You know, Like, If something's good, It's good. You know, That's, That's cool. You know, We don't usually have problems when, When things that are happening in our life are good. But when things are bad, If you're at the whim of your thinking mind, Or your emotions, And something bad happens, You could be in trouble, Because you're not in control of the thinking mind and your emotions. So where you go, What road you go down, How long you're gone down that road, It can vary. And it can be problematic. Right? So this is where the you know, That's the basis of of this radical acceptance is just accepting whatever's going on. And I think, You know, That, Of course, Anybody can practice this, But for me, It, I can take it to another level, I feel a deeper level, Because of my belief in a higher power. So the fact that I have a belief in what I sometimes call God, I believe that there's something that loves me. And that supports me. And that's basically in control of the flow of life. There's divine intelligence that knows way more than I do. You know, And every time I surrender to that, My life goes better. So with radical acceptance, It's, You know, Like, You know, I think I explained radical acceptance, Good enough, To where you guys understand what I'm talking about. It's basically just accepting whatever happens. And then if I, On top of that, If my perspective is that whatever happens to me, Is meant to happen. It's meant to be happening. Then I'm perpetually in the present moment. I'm not. See, This is what's the this is the interesting, Dynamic, Intricate part, To me, Is that when, Because I hear all you know, I'm already hearing the ego pop up and go, Yeah, But yeah, But Glenn, So if you're if you stop judging everything, Right, Your energy is different, Your mind isn't constantly racing, Because there's nothing really to race about, Because the normal things that it's, It's, It's giving you a narration on, You've decided that it doesn't matter. So it's really not narrating so much. It's and if it does, Half the time, You're not even aware of it. Just whatever. Just and you walk through life much more calm and much more peaceful and much more in the present moment. And, You know, Also, Because your emotions aren't pulling you left, Right, Up, Down. So because of that, The byproduct of living like this is your calmer, You're more present. Now, When you're calmer and more present, Then you're in alignment with divine intelligence. I have said this before, And you know, Some I know some of you get it. I've never made a mistake when I was completely present. I don't think anybody ever has. If we're forced into the present moment where we're completely centered, And we're completely present, We are in alignment with that means we have access to and it flows through us, Divine intelligence, Divine wisdom. So if there's a right thing to say, We just say it. If there's a right action to take, We just take it. Sometimes we're not even aware that we're taking it. Sometimes we're doing something and we're not even aware that we're really doing it. It's just kind of like we're being led. It's happening through us. Sometimes we're semi-conscious. Sometimes we're fully conscious that we're doing it. And if we're fully conscious that we're doing it, But we're not telling ourselves to do it, Divine wisdom is working through us, Then it's kind of like we're the observer and we're kind of watching it going, Wow, Isn't that interesting? I'm doing this. I didn't tell myself to do this. It's just kind of happening through me. Huh? Like that's the place that we get in more. If we stop the constant, You know, Like I'm always looking for a way to what I call backdoor the ego, Right? Because I don't want to fight the ego. I don't want like, If my mind's racing, Whatever I resist persist. So if I try to get my mind to stop racing, Guess what it's going to do? It's going to race. Now, Can I get certain moments of stillness through, I guess what I'll call efforting? Yeah, You can get some of it. You know, You, You can, You can build up your focus, Um, To where you don't get drawn off center so quickly, Or your mind can stay still. You can build that up. But like, I'm ADHD, Man. Like, That's not easy, You know? So it's, It's my point is, Is if I'm coming at my mind to try to control it, Or I'm coming at my emotions to try to control them, Uh, Sometimes I can have some benefits in some areas, But over the last 20 years, I haven't found that to be really that successful, Quite honestly. But if I stop judging everything, And I just accept everything as it is now, All of a sudden, My mind automatically slows. So I'm not fighting against my mind. I'm not resisting it. My emotions aren't getting triggered because I'm just, There's nothing to get triggered over. It's just, If it's happening, Then it's supposed to be happening. Whether I like it or whether I don't like it is, It doesn't matter. It's, It's not based on that, You know, And that's really the biggest part because of course we don't resist things that we like usually, You know, But, But the, The, You know, To kind of finish off the, The, The dynamic that I was just speaking of is, Is the biggest ego objection is, Well, I'm, You know, If, If I just accept everything as is, And it's, It's all happening for me, It's never happening to me, Then what if something negative is happening that I should do something about, Right? And that's what I was explaining with the, Being in the present moment. It just happens. Like we have this unconscious belief that we have to get upset and we have to take some moral stance against something negative in order to deal with it. And we don't, We don't have to take some moral stance. We don't even have to fully understand that we don't like it. If we're in the present moment and you know, This I've been in situations where I was completely present and there was somebody aggressive coming at me. And this was many years ago. I don't really remember if it was, I don't think, I don't think it was going to become a physical altercation. I, You know, From what I remember, I don't think it was that intense, But I'm sure it could have been, Especially if I lost my temper, You can turn almost anything into a, Into a physical confrontation. If you lose your temper. But my point is, Is when I was completely present, I just found myself walking away. And then there was another time, Actually, I remember this one where, Where specifically where it could have gone physical. I was, I was leaving, I was leaving a party with my girlfriend at the time. And an old friend of my girlfriend was just this, He was a piece of work. Very, Very arrogant and just insulting and rude. And, And we're leaving and we're saying goodbye. And he wanted to try to make a point because he hadn't, He hadn't gotten to me and he was trying the whole time we're there. And, And he said something to me and, And he kind of like, Like pop made a move, Like he was going to hit me. And like saying something like how, You know, I don't, I don't, I don't remember exactly what he said, But it was something about him being tough or, Or, Oh, I think he said something like, Wow, You haven't met anybody like me before or something like that. And it's like, I mean, In my past, I've met a heck of a lot worse. And, And, And then he lunged at me like he was going to hit me and I was just completely relaxed. And I, And I just said, I said something like I've, I've met people. I met a lot of people, A lot tougher than you or something like that. And I just kind of snickered and I didn't flinch and I just turned around, Grabbed my girlfriend's hand and walked off to the car. It was just, It was completely, There was no emotional reaction whatsoever. I responded verbally. I responded physically by just not when he made the lunge to me because there was nothing like, I wasn't scared. Divine wisdom knew he wasn't going to hit me in that particular moment. And I was present. I was in complete alignment with, With divine wisdom. So I just, There was no reason to flinch. So I didn't, You know, This is what I mean. Like I, I'm like, I've been in that type of situation a lot in my previous life. Right. So I could handle the situation, But it probably would have escalated if I was in control of it. Whereas I was in alignment with divine wisdom. So it was just the perfect response and it felt perfect. It was the perfect way to handle it. It just, It flowed so effortlessly. So it's situations like this. We never, When, Because it's happening through us, We're not deciding. So therefore it's not our human nature or our past experiences as a human being that's dictating what we are doing in the, In the present moment. That's not what's dictating it. That's why we never make mistakes. We make mistakes in our humanness. We make mistakes based on our past experiences, But we don't make mistakes. Well, We can, But divine wisdom, When divine wisdom is in control, It knows the situation perfectly and it just flows right through us. So this is a state that we want to be in. And I think a lot of the teachings are going like, Okay, Still your mind. So you can get there, Manage your emotions so you can get there. And like I said, It's um, Have I gotten better at my, My mind and my, My emotions over the last 20 years? Well, Of course I have, But not to the point where I'm just walking around at peace all the time, Whereas this I am. And I mean, It's flipping a switch. Like if I'm doing this, It, It didn't take weeks of practice or months of practice. It's just immediate. Now I was going through some things to, To push me there. There's been lots of things that, Um, Have been transpiring in my life in the last, I don't know, Probably started like, Uh, The end of November last year. So let's say December, January, February, The last three months, There have been things transpiring, Not constant, But things transpiring in my life that have never happened before that most people would deem negative. Um, In like basically every area, Most areas, Maybe not every area, But most areas of my life. And, Um, Living in the Dominican Republic, When that's, That's happening over here, It can be a problem because some of the normal things that transpire in life, Like there's not as many, There's not as many, Um, Uh, No, I can't think of the word conveniences over here. So when you start losing some of the conveniences you do have, It can get difficult quick. And, Um, You know, Plus it's easy to jump into the pity pot because you're going, Hey, My standards have lowered. Like I'm not asking for much here, Which is a beautiful way to hop on the pity pot. You know, 40% of the time, Unfortunately, I can see those patterns, You know, And the victim mentality just doesn't feel right with me. It's not that I never go there. It's just that I don't stay there because it's like, At the end of the day, I know better. I mean, Come on, You know, Like sometimes I'll allow myself to go there, But at the, But really like, I can't stay there too long because I know that the universe isn't out to get me. I know there's nothing wrong with life. You know, I've been on this spiritual journey too long. It's changed too much in my life. It's, It's been there for me in too many difficult situations to think that, That there isn't something to it. So I know there is so, You know, And, And if I, If I get frustrated enough, I always hit that wall and go, Well, Then, You know, Then Glenn just don't live like this. If you want, Go back to your old way of life. You can do that. Nobody's got a gun in your head. Go ahead. It's like, Well, No, I don't want to. It's like, Okay, Well then if you know, There's nothing wrong with the universe, You know, There's nothing wrong with God or the flow of life. And yet you're upset or, Or things keep going, What you're labeling as wrong all the time, Then what's the problem? Is the problem with God or is the problem with you? Well, It's gotta be with me. God's a heck of a lot smarter than I am. Omni-present, Omni-powerful, Omni-intelligence, You know, Stuff like that. He's probably in a better position than I. So like, So it's gotta be me. So once I get out of my own way and be like, Okay, Then really be honest with yourself, Glenn, You know, Get off the, Oh, I've been living this way for 20 years. Oh, I do everything right. Oh, I, I've been doubling down and tripling down with my spirituality lately. So therefore I should be, You know, All the benefits should be coming to me and they're not. So therefore I'm a victim. You know, It's when you really get down to brass tacks and it's hard sometimes, Like, Like a lot of those thoughts can actually make sense even to me sometimes that like, I can still get caught up in that to some degree. And it's just, You gotta go deeper. You gotta go like, We're not victims of anything ever, Ever, No matter how bad it seems, We actually have to live that way. And I truly believe that like the more spiritual we get, Sometimes it can be frustrating because, You know, We'll, We'll, We'll look back and we'll be like, Oh my God, You know, Like I was living, I'm, I'm living more spiritually now than I was 10 years ago and I'm struggling more now. That's not fair. It's like, Yeah, But the bar keeps getting raised. Why? Because it has to. For us to actually land where we need to land, For us to experience the peace and the love that we say we want, Then we have to do the work. Like it's, We have to go deeper. We have to live this in more ways. So once we get rid of that victim and then just drop in into radical acceptance, No matter what it is, No matter, You know, If the, If this isn't working enough, Fell apart and all, And, And, And, And this project I was working on is stalled and didn't work out. And I've done all these other things and nothing is working out. And then I was putting energy into this area and that kept blocking and literally nothing, No matter what I do, Nothing plays out to my benefit, Nothing, You know, And then the water goes out and then the electricity goes out. And, And I mean, Not, Not in a way that happens regularly over here in ways that shouldn't be happening. And it's more and more and more. And it's like, You know, Whenever my whole world starts seeming like it's falling apart worse and worse, And it's more and more and, And it gets, You know, You know, When you're feeling sorry for yourself and it, And it really, You're sitting there going like, Why I'm, You know, I, I'm trying to do what, What you want me to. Why, Why me? Why is this all happening to me? I'm, It's gotta be something I'm missing. I'm trying to do whatever you want, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah. Like when you're all caught up in that, It's difficult, But if you can take a deep breath and center yourself and get calm and, And pull yourself out of that victim mode, You can get these moments of clarity, You know, And, And, And what's weird is like, You can have those moments. Like, Like, Like, Let's say over the last three months, You know, I do a deep dive and try to figure out like, What God wants from me. What, What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do better? What, What, What, What? Right. And I can't, When I, Like I've been in that position several times in my journey and whenever I finally just let go of the victim mentality and drop down and just practice radical acceptance, Some information comes in and it's comical or weird or mind boggling that I didn't see it before. You know, It's like really Glenn, All that pissing and moaning week after week, Month after month. Not that I was on a pity pot that whole time, But, But like, You know, All the, What, What I'm trying. I mean, If I'm honest, I wasn't being honest with myself. I just, What, Why? I don't know, Man. I been doing this a long time. I guess I just wasn't capable. It's part of my learning curve. But when I look at, When I look, When the information came through and I just leaned into it and it was just so easy and so simple and so effective. And then I look back and I go, Why was it so hard to get to this place? The only thing that I can see is like, Glenn, You, You weren't really being honest with yourself. You, You know, You were caught up in the victim mode the whole time. No, But, But there was an aspect of poor me, Or this shouldn't be happening or something like that, That blocked your mind from seeing. See, Like if you're the problem and you're feeling sorry for yourself, You're never going to see the problem. Why? Because you're feeling sorry for yourself. So you can't be the, You can't feel sorry for yourself and understand you're the problem at the same time. So if you're feeling sorry for yourself, You're very likely to miss what you're doing wrong because you're feeling sorry for yourself. So your mind isn't looking. Even if you try to look, Even like I tried to look and I saw some stuff, But I couldn't go deep enough. Why? Because I was feeling sorry for myself. That's what this radical acceptance takes away. You're just not feeling sorry for yourself because I'm sitting there going like, Okay, Well, What if everything that's been falling apart continues to fall apart? Well, It's, It's stripping everything away for me. It's not happening to me. It's happening for me because it has to, Because there's some sort of loving God that is doing all this stuff. And like, I can tell, You know, When I'm, I'm, How do I say this? I'm a pretty stubborn dude. Like when my life, When I explain what I've experienced in my life, Most people are like, Oh, Wow. Oh, Okay. I don't know if this is because I'm stubborn because I'm an extremist because, Um, I'm hardheaded, Whatever. But like, Uh, I think part of it, Like once I got, Once I woke up spiritually, I think part of it is because I'm so damn capable. Quite honestly, I can handle a lot of things, Which there's good and bad to that. I can handle a lot of things, But when, When God is trying to strip me down to start over on, On a deeper level, On a deeper foundation, Lots of things have to be taken from me because I can handle 30 things going wrong at once. Because I have all kinds of tools and spiritual center and all of that. And I've, The life that I've lived, I've, I've experienced tremendous hardships and struggles and difficulties for a large portion of my life. So like not much really knocks me around. Not really. I can get surfacey irritated and stuff, But I mean, Really knocked around. It's pretty hard to knock me around. So that is good and bad. Sometimes it's good, But when I'm getting stripped down to bare bones, Nothing to build back up on a firmer foundation, That's a problem because usually I have to lose a lot before I'm like, Okay, Whoa, Everything I usually do isn't working. And it's obvious that, You know, Like one of my red flags in this situation and other situations is when I catch myself thinking that things should have worked out, But they haven't in, In individual situations or collective, When I'm sitting there going, What the heck, Man, I've done 20 things and it's still not working. It should have worked after two, Like that's a red flag to me or everything's going wrong. That's a red flag to me to stop. And it's like, Whoa, Wait a minute. So, So like if I was, If God wasn't trying to get my attention, All this stuff wouldn't be happening because this is absurd. Like it doesn't even make any sense. Like there's so much stuff going wrong that like if I told anybody, They'd be like, What the heck did you do? Like, Is, Did you break 350, 000 mirrors for bad luck or something? Like, Like, But it's, It's consistent. It's like nothing works ever. And then when nothing is working, Something else goes wrong on top of it. And then after that, Something goes wrong on top of it. And then usually just when I'm figuring those things out, Something wrong goes on, Goes on top of it. So like, I don't have a choice. I either explode and I don't even know what my explode would do like, Like an atom bomb or combust or something, Or I hit the brakes and go, Wait a minute, Something that's in control of the flow of life and what transpires is obviously trying to get my attention because this isn't normal. Like this isn't just how life happens. So what you have my attention and I'm telling you the, The, The space that I've landed in that is, Is radical acceptance. It does. See, How can my emotions drag me around if I just accept everything as is like it's supposed to be happening. Like, You know, And, And like I said, I mean, The, The normal egoic thing, I'm not going to go too far into this, But I do want to address the egoic. How can you live like that? You know, Mentality like it, Because when I say that, I understand that some of you are going to perceive this as just not doing anything. That's not how it is. When you just let go of the judgment, You can still make assessments. You know, It's, It's just like the differences, You know, I, I drive 45 minutes down to my little city by the beach that I go, You know, Run my errands and do things. It's, It's just the difference between going down there and nothing working out. And then just turning the car around and going, Well, I tried to do every do some things and it's obviously not working out today. So I'm going to go home and turning the car around and going home without getting upset without thinking you're a victim without, Why is this happening to me without, This is a load of crap. Why would all the stores be closed randomly on a Wednesday, Even though it's not a holiday, Like, You know, Without going down that judgment path and just going, It just is, It's just not working today. So I guess I'm not supposed to be down here running errands today. I'll have to try to do it another day. Okay. And being completely fine with that. That's what I mean. So it's, It's not that you don't interact with life and it's not that you don't have assessments and, And, And therefore take actions off of your assessments. It's that they don't, There's no judgment. There's no victim mentality. There's, There's no poor me. There's no, There's no anger. There's no frustration. We don't need that. You know, We fight for our right. Like, Like, Like when, When I talk to people about this type of thing, It's, You know, This is why I touched on the ego part of it coming in, Going, Oh, So you're just going to sit on the couch and just never do anything again because you're just accepting and no, Like I'm still interacting with life. Oh, Well, So something's happening in the world and you're not going to let it upset you. So you don't care. No, That's not true either. I mean, I can still care. I can still not want people to go through difficult times. I can still even look at things like, Like one time you know, Kind of a real life example. One of my friends had, Had cancer and you know, He called me up and we're talking and I was like, Okay, Well, Is there anything that I can do for him? And the only thing that I could thought, Think of to do for him was, Was to, You know, I was in Rhode Island at the time was to take him for a drive up to New Hampshire to hike this really cool mountain, Mount Mononoke up there. So it was like, I could, I could do that with him, You know, Okay, Cool. What, Is there anything else I can do? And I didn't have any money to donate to cancer research. I didn't have a lot of time. My son was young. So I was like, Well, I, I, There was there was some sort of cancer day coming up. I think it was breast cancer day. And, And I wrote an article. I was like, I could write an article. Okay. So I wrote an article and I published it for, For, You know, That day. And I took my friend hiking and we had a blast, You know, And, And so I can still take action, But I wasn't walking around feeling bad for him. I wasn't feeling miserable. I wasn't feeling, Why is God doing this to him? I wasn't feeling anything so much so that he actually asked me about it when we're hiking, You know, He was like, Man, Like, You don't treat me like I'm sick. Everybody treats me like I'm sick. And I hate that. Like, It's just so refreshing for somebody to treat me normal. Like, Why don't you treat me like I'm sick? And I said, Well, Because I don't see any benefit in it. Like what, How was that going to help you? You know, We can never feel sorry enough for somebody to help them. If there's action we can take, Then take the action. If there's something that we can do to better the situation for ourselves or others, Then take the action. And, And if you're in alignment with, With, With divine wisdom, It's going to be beautiful, Perfect action. So this is not about not taking action. This is not about not caring about what's transpiring in the world or in our lives. It has nothing to do with that. It's actually the opposite of that. You take much more correct action, Divinely inspired action in the right energy. When you're completely centered in the moment, When you're getting dragged around by your, By your emotions and your thoughts, Your emotions are horrible for making decisions. Emotions are wonderful for lots of things, But they are horrible at making decisions. If you want to make a crappy decision, Get emotional about something. It literally, It clouds our vision. It pushes us towards fight or flight, Shuts our brain down so we can't think as well. This is all scientifically proven. And then as far as thinking, Our thinking is all based on our past experiences. We don't have truly creative thought. Truly creative thought pops in from the other side when we're centered. You know, This is how Einstein came up with the theory of relativity. He didn't think it up. It came to him in a moment of stillness, Which is where most truly, Most possibly all, Truly creative thought comes from. Ideas. It comes from the ether. It comes from the other side. It comes through us. It doesn't come from our brain. Our brain is a computer. It just stores information from past experiences. It's just like AI. It just takes all kinds of things at amazingly rapid speeds that packed experiences. And we just spit out automated response to most stuff based on our past experiences. So it's not the best place to get creative action. And I mean, I'm comparing it to divine wisdom. So it's not even in the same ballpark. So if we can bypass, You know, Heck man, I want to live like this forever because this is phenomenal. It's phenomenal to walk around and have your brain talking to you less, Dramatically less, And to just be even killed completely emotionally. You know, I mean, I've experienced this before, But it's like, This is pretty freaking awesome. So it's, You know, I've been saying for a long time now, It's the, There's too much work. Like we're doing too much work. We're in the information age, And people are getting addicted to information. And you know, They think they need one more podcast, Or one more book, Or one more. If they're not happy, There must be something that they're missing. And it's always about going within. It's always about simplifying and going deeper. And this is really simple and really deep. Just no judgment. And so if I'm not judging things, Then I'm not on the emotional rollercoaster. I'm not at the whim of my emotions, And I'm completely at peace all the time. Let me see if there's anything else I want to touch on before I go. It's freedom. Like this is what I really feel is freedom. It's freedom because I'm not pulled by my emotions. I'm not pulled by my thoughts. I'm free. So if I'm free, Then I'm totally in control of myself. I'm not at the whim of these other things. It's beautiful. You know, So the only other thing I guess I'll touch on is just, You know, What I'm really focusing on is the knowing and the gratitude for the knowing, Or the knowing and the gratitude for God just loving me enough to bring me here. You know, Like that, Because that's it's truly how I see it. We have to get. So to get here, What we have to do is we have to get ourselves to a place where we're seeing the things that we perceive as negative that are happening specifically to us in our personal lives, The things we don't like, The things that we feel aren't going our way or should be going another way to view those things as assets to, Like, I'm viewing those things as a gift. Why? Because they had to happen to get me to let go of everything so I can experience this. And at the end of the day, You know, If you're anything like me, You know damn well you've been praying for this. You've been praying for it to happen. Please, God, Please give me this freedom, This peace, This contentment, This love so I can just walk through my daily life like this so that my life isn't a struggle all the time. And please just, You know, You know you're having, If you're on a spiritual path, That is your deepest heartfelt desire on some level, Right? You've got to be something like that. We all want it. So we want it, We're desiring it. And then when things happen to get us to the place where we can open to it, We get too busy judging the things that are bringing us down. Well, They had to bring us down because how else were we going to open to it? If we would have opened, If we would have opened to it when things were going well, We would have, But we didn't, Right? We've had periods of things going well. Is that when you had your big spiritual awakening? No, Me neither. It's when we get brought down to our knees that we go deeper. So the quicker we can start looking at things that are going wrong and understanding that this is serving you, This is a gift. When things go wrong in your life, That is the best thing that can happen to you. When things start transpiring that you don't like, Buckle up because the gifts are coming. This is happening for you. It's for a reason. It's to get you to where you've always wanted to be. That's the goal. It's not happening. God's not up there with a magnifying glass, Just chasing us around, Trying to burn us for no apparent reason. There's a purpose to everything that's transpiring. So it's happening for you, Not to you. So the quicker you can get off the pity pot and open up to that and stop feeling gratitude and get that poor me out of the way. Now, All of a sudden your mind can actually start seeing where you're falling short because it's not trying to protect you through the ego. Yes, But I have to hang on to some mental outlook that this isn't my fault. As soon as you let that go, It is your fault. You're in control of your energy and your mind and you have free will. God can't come in here and give you anything that you're refusing to take. So what does God do when he really loves you and really wants you to experience the peace and the love that you really desire in your heart? If you ain't getting it when things are going good, Then things start going bad. So when things start going bad and you can embrace that and just go like, Okay, Okay. I know you love me. I know you're doing this for me. I know you are. Okay. All right. This too. All right. I, You got me somehow. I don't know. Not sure how I'm going to eat. Okay. I mean, I'll keep taking action and figure it out, But okay. I'm not sure what's going to happen with this. Okay. So I'm going to be sitting in the dark with no water. Don't know how long. Okay. All right. I know it's for me. Thank you. I love you. Thank you. Okay. Oh my God. It's so freeing people. Please lean into this. Please lean into this. Please. It's time to let us let go of the, The, It's time to let go of the victim mentality altogether. Altogether. You are loved. You are supported and all the bad that you see happening is happening for you, Not to you. It's to bring you down. It's to strip everything away that is blocking you vision. So you can finally get to that place of radical acceptance where you go, Okay, I'm not in control. Thy will not mind be done. And I'm completely 100% on board for it. And things start changing. Don't, You can't do it to try to change things. I'll end on this. You know that I always do this because this is people do this all the time. And I know that because I've seen it and I've caught myself doing it. We're so manipulative. So what people will do after hearing this is there'll be like, Oh no, No, God, I'm not upset with you because my life's falling apart. Uh, Bring it. Yeah. I'll have more things go wrong. It's okay. I don't mind. And they don't really believe it. They're not really embracing it. They're not really practicing radical acceptance. They just listened to this podcast and they think that if they pretend to truly accept it, Then they can. And they don't think this intellectually. A lot of times it's on an unconscious level. That's how, You know, You have to, That's one of the ways of stripping things. Like you try forgiving, Uh, I'm sorry, Not forgiving, But accepting they're actually the same energy, Forgiveness and acceptance. But we try acceptance, Right? Like really hard, But we haven't done it all the way yet. And things keep going wrong. And we're like, I tried to acceptance, You know, Then we hop back on the pity pot. You were never really an acceptance. You were trying kudos to you for trying, But you weren't there. You hadn't fully opened your heart. Wasn't really accepting. And if you're honest with yourself, You can get there. So make sure you don't fool yourself and attempt to unconsciously manipulate divine wisdom because it ain't going to happen. So you have to truly accept it. You have to truly feel gratitude. I know you guys can feel it. When I was just looking into the camera and I was just saying, Really, Like, I know you guys can feel that I'm truly grateful. I'm truly an acceptance. I'm not saying I'm an acceptance. I'm truly in acceptance. And that's when things shift. So if you truly think you're in acceptance and things aren't shifting and you're not really feeling the peace or the external circumstances aren't shifting yet, Then that just means you haven't really accepted. You're lying to yourself. So you have to go deeper and do it more. So I'm just being honest. That's the reality of the situation. If you do this, It will work. Guaranteed. It's impossible not to.
