My Inner Child began as small notes I once wrote for myself. At the time, my inner critic (that I call Harry) was loud, questioning and doubting everything I felt. As that voice softened, I noticed the part of me that still looked outward for reassurance — the child that gets scared, hurt, or unsure. While writing this song, something shifted: I realised I could become the safe presence she was searching for. This song marks the moment I began to trust my own inner compass, and to gently parent myself from within. From the album Perfectly Imperfect.
