Begin to imagine a gentle ball of light forming above your head,
It can be any colour that feels right to you,
Maybe it's a warm golden glow or a soft healing blue.
See this light slowly drifting right into you,
Down toward the top of your head and as it touches you,
Feel it beginning to flow gently all the way down.
Allow it to travel from the crown of your head,
Down through your neck and shoulders,
Through your chest and arms,
All the way down your spine.
Feel it move through your legs and finally out through the soles of your feet,
Rounding you deeply into the air below.
Now bring your attention to the space behind your eyelids,
The quiet darkness,
Notice the soft,
Comforting feeling,
Let that feeling of ease spread around your eyes,
Releasing every bit of tension.
Your eyelids are relaxed,
Heavy and peaceful,
They simply want to rest.
As you allow this relaxation to deepen,
Imagine the same light continuing to flow through you,
From the top of your head to your toes,
Like a steady current of calm energy returning to the earth.
In a moment I'll count down from 7 to 1,
With each number you'll sink even deeper into relaxation,
