Tonight we'll gently clear the mind for a deep rest.
So breathe in through the nose,
Out through the mouth and feel your body settle.
Visualise your thoughts as clouds in a wide open sky.
Watch them as they drift with no need to hold on.
If any linger,
Imagine a soft wind blowing them away.
Now say softly to yourself,
My thoughts can wait,
This is my time to rest.
My thoughts can wait,

You are not your to-do list,
You are not your worries,
You are the quiet presence beneath it all.
And let that presence expand as your body softens.
You are now entering the still space where healing begins.
