Hey guys, this is a gorgeous meditation for the times we want to check-out of our thoughts and come back to the present moment. We work through beautiful simple chanted mantras to calm and soothe our minds starting with the Sanskrit mantra and then repeating what they represent.

This is a gorgeous meditation for the times we want to check out of our thoughts and come back to the present moment.

We work through beautiful,

Simple,

Chanted mantras to calm and soothe our minds,

Starting with the Sanskrit mantra and then repeating what they present.

We'll be starting with the beautiful chant of Aum and then moving on to Aum Namo,

Gurudev Namo.

Enjoy this moment,

Enjoy the beautiful humming,

Enjoy the sensations through your body and let's come to the present moment.

Take a lovely big breath all the way in.

Take a moment to breathe nice and gently,

Filling your belly,

Allowing the shoulders to relax.

Begin to notice any sounds around you.

Notice how your body feels.

Noticing the peace and the calm around you.

When you're ready,

You can gently blink your eyes open.

And softly focus on whatever you can see first.

No judgment,

No labelling,

Simply observing.

When you're ready,

You can bring a little smile onto your face,

Hands together in front of your chest.

Take a little moment to tuck your chin into your chest.

Recognise your efforts here today.

To become one with yourself,

To become present,

And to enjoy what life has to offer you.

That was amazing. I came to this meditation with no idea what to expect as I've never really chanted before. I felt a bit silly at first, but stuck with it. After the meditation finished I sat and breathed slowly, the next thing I knew all sorts of sayings about what God is ran through my mind. When I opened my eyes I saw a shrub at the bottom of my garden. It's green and white leaves and small white berries look beautiful right now. But it's in autumn and winter, when the leaves have shed and the stems turn a vibrant red that it looks it's most stunning. I've just turned 60, so this is giving me plenty to reflect upon. Thank you.

Really refreshing! This meditation indeed did take me out of my head for a moment. My only suggestion would be to give the listener more time to repeat the mantras on our own. Thank you.
