A short grounding meditation for women to centre in their body and feel safe within themselves. Breathe with me, while holding yourself, and calling in a symbol of safety. Great to start the day with, or do listen when feeling anxious, or ungrounded.

Transcript

Very slowly,

Make yourself comfortable.

Make sure you are in a safe space,

A space where you do not get disturbed and allow your body to make herself comfortable,

Using any cushions or props that align with what your body needs right now.

Sitting straight and allowing your spine to breathe and strengthen.

Very slowly,

When comfortable,

Softening your eye gaze or perhaps closing and taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

One more time in.

Feeling the connection with the earth,

Bringing loving awareness to Pachamama,

How she is holding you,

The divine mother.

Feeling how your body connects and take a moment to hold yourself in this silence.

Bringing loving awareness and touch to your beautiful body,

The vessel,

The temple.

Perhaps you would like to give yourself a hug,

Placing your hand underneath your armpit,

The other hand around your shoulder,

Soaking up the love for the female body,

Holding yourself in unconditional safety.

This body is your safe temple.

You are safe to be,

While holding yourself or touching yourself,

Very very gentle,

Sensual.

Bring your hand to your room space and place one hand on your heart,

Deepening your breath and allow a symbol of safety to come to you.

Whether this is a person,

An animal,

A living being,

An object,

An element,

What represents safety to you?

Hold yourself while touching the heart and the womb in this safe container.

Feel how you are protected and safe,

This energy you can take with you for the rest of the day and the day ahead.

Breathing through these layers of safety,

In through the heart and out through the womb.

You are safe.

Take time to touch yourself and hold yourself,

Taking a few more deep breaths,

In and out,

Feeling the connection with the earth,

Bringing your awareness back into your body,

Softening your gaze while opening the eyes,

Noticing the space around you,

The sounds,

The smells.

You are safe,

Always.
