Sit comfortably and draw tall through the spine,

Allow your eyes to close gently.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Let your body relax.

Bring your attention to your heart and imagine a soft,

Warm light glowing there.

This is your loving awareness.

With each inhale,

Feel this light grow brighter within you.

With each exhale,

Allow it to expand beyond your body.

Imagine expanding your loving awareness to fill the room around you,

Touching everything and everyone.

As you continue to breathe silently,

Repeat to yourself,

I am loving awareness.

Feel the light of your heart expand even further,

Reaching out to all beings,

Offering warmth,

Compassion,

And love.

Allow yourself to feel connected to all of life,

Understanding that you are not separate from the world around you,

But deeply intertwined with it.

Be with a breath for several more rounds,

Feeling the sense of connection.

Gently bring your attention back to your body.

Carry this loving awareness with you as you move through the rest of your day.
