The Third Eye From ancient times,

The third eye has been a symbol of human wisdom.

Sometimes described as the eye of the intellect,

Sometimes as the eye of awareness,

The third eye enables us to see that which cannot be seen by the two physical eyes.

The two eyes of the physical body are for seeing outward.

The third eye is the symbol for being able to see inside my own self,

To understand my own self,

And to become aware of this amazing world of inner space,

Which consists of my thoughts,

My emotions,

My beliefs,

My perceptions,

And so on.

As we learn to open our third eye and become aware of this network that exists within us,

It also makes us aware of the power that we have to direct and to shape the way we think and the way we feel.

The vastness of outer space is well known,

But the vastness and the depth of inner space of the third eye is even more immense.

And so let us spend a few moments to explore opening the third eye and experiencing the wonder of our own inner space.
