Welcome to this guided meditation.
Meant to bring you clarity and purpose.
To begin,
Find a comfortable supportive position for your body.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale out of your mouth.
If there's any extra energy in your body,
Allow yourself to fidget.
And then slowly come to stillness.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale out of your mouth.
Find a comfortable rhythm to your breaths.
With each inhale.
Relax the body a little more.
With each exhale.
Clear the minds.
Find a place of stillness.
In both the body and mind.
And the mind.
If at any point you begin to feel distracted,
Slowly return to your breath.
Giving yourself grace and patience.
And knowing it's okay for the mind to wander.
But as you catch it,
Come back to your breath.
Thinking inhale,
I clear my mind.
Exhale,
I relax my body.
Inhale,
I relax my body.
Exhale,
I clear my mind.
Now think about something where you've been feeling torn lately.
A decision that you're trying to come to.
Or a particular fork in the road,
Or you're unsure of how to turn.
Something that's been giving you a little bit of resistance.
Or perhaps having you feel a little stuck.
Once again,
Knowing that it's okay to feel uncertain.
Provide yourself some grace.
So allow yourself to focus on this particular situation,
This particular question in your mind.
Something where you're not sure of the answer.
But would like some clarity.
Now holding this thought in your mind,
Just take a nice deep breath in through your nose.
And then exhale out of your mouth.
With the eyes closed,
Begin to visualize yourself walking in the forest.
Hear the earth underneath you as you slowly walk.
Visualize the sights around you.
What colors do you notice?
Are there any sounds of birds or bees?
Are there any other people close by?
Let yourself walk this path very slowly.
Noticing how your body feels.
Noticing how your body feels.
Noticing the temperature on your skin.
And continue to walk,
To explore.
To let your senses feel alive in this scene.
And slowly,
You'll start to come to a clearing.
Leaving the forest.
And seeing a meadow.
At the edge of the meadow.
Is a small cabin.
You'll slowly approach the cabin walking through the meadow.
Again,
Paying attention to the sites around you.
To the temperature,
To the climate.
To how everything feels in this moment.
As you slowly walk through the meadow.
Approaching the cabin.
What sensations are arising in your body as you start to walk up the steps towards the cabin door?
What is going on in your mind.
And as you begin to open the cabin door,
You'll notice that the climate gets a little cooler.
The air feels a little heavier.
There's shades over the window,
So it's a little darker in here.
You slowly step in.
Closing the door behind you.
And you'll notice the cabin walls,
The decorations.
You'll notice the quiet.
The stillness inside.
And at the far end of the cabin,
There are two doors.
One on your left.
And one on your right.
So you pause for a moment,
Taking a few slow,
Deep breaths.
And think about What door you want to open?
Think about.
What feelings you'd like to receive as you open that door?
Thinking about the anticipation.
Of what lies beyond.
And notice how one door may feel a little different than the other.
There may be more uncertainty.
Or maybe more fulfillment.
Let yourself imagine.
What lies beyond each door.
What do you hope to see?
When you open the door.
And when you're ready.
You'll approach one of the doors.
Outstretching your hand to clasp the doorknob.
And slowly you'll turn.
Open the door.
And walk through.
As you walk through where your expectations met.
Is this what you imagined?
Or is it something different?
Does this feel like the right path forward?
What are the sensations deep in your belly?
And your chest and your throat.
Let yourself feel.
Let yourself notice the emotions that are arising as you walk through this door.
And you explore this new area.
Is there something you were hoping to see here?
Is there anything unexpected?
Are there pleasant surprises awaiting for you?
Give yourself a few more moments to explore.
Notice what happens to your energy.
And in this last moment,
Is there anything else that you want to see?
Anything you'd like to touch,
To feel.
Any additional clarity.
You'd like to receive.
And you'll slowly begin to turn the body.
To walk back out the way you came.
Closing your chosen door behind you.
Entering back into the cabin.
And take a moment in the cabin and notice if anything has changed here.
Even notice if you've changed.
And then knowing it's time to return from where you came.
You'll walk to the cabin door.
Slowly walking through the cabin door,
Closing it behind you.
Walking down the steps,
Back into the meadow.
Walking through the meadow.
Back to the path.
Entering the forest.
Taking in the sights,
The sounds.
The smells.
The feeling of the air around you.
And the feelings within you.
And you'll slowly walk back down the path through the forest to where you came.
Noticing if your own energy has shifted.
And giving yourself this time to walk.
With clarity.
And purpose.
