Remembering a definitive moment.

Let's practice remembering a definitive moment in our life.

Find a quiet spot or a room where there's no disturbance.

Let's begin by taking a moment to settle down.

You may also close your eyes,

Relax your facial muscles,

Relax your shoulder,

Let it drop,

Relax both your hands,

Releasing the muscle tension,

Letting it loose,

Shift your attention to your feet.

Can you feel the ground or your shoes?

Take three deep breaths.

Recall an experience where it is important to you,

An experience that define your life.

It can be an unpleasant or pleasant memories.

But one that shape how you think and who you are today.

What do you see in those memories?

What are the colors you recall in those memories?

What about the smell if you can remember?

If there was a sensation of touching,

What was it like?

What was the texture?

What sounds did you hear?

What are your thoughts at the end of the time?

And with those thoughts,

What feelings did it result within you?

Do you remember how your body reacts with those feelings and thoughts?

Who are you with?

Is it someone close or not close to you?

And what were you doing with the person if you're not alone?

What are the definitive moments in this experience?

What impact has it resulted in?

What does this experience say to you?

What does it mean to you that it changed you to who you are today?

Who has been impacted by your change?

What did others say if they notice about this impact?

From all this exercise,

What values do you think brings out most to you in those moments and to now?

And how has these values changed your actions or behavior that you are or important to you?

Now,

I'd like you to imagine there is a small box in front of you.

Imagine that you are putting these definitive moments inside the box.

In your mind,

Say this,

This is what define part of me today.

Close the box,

Put it away.

Now,

Take three deep breaths.

We are coming to the end of this practice.

Keep this practice in mind and you may open your eyes whenever you are ready.
