Welcome to another day,
Yours.
These days,
Like children playing,
Fiercely frost the early morning windows,
And are only too glad to have the sun melted all away in an hour.
The frost comes and goes in complete silence,
Its marvelous designs lost unless you pay attention,
And then they are lost anyway.
How quickly the lace and filigree appear and disappear.
Looking inside,
See the design of your life in this precious present moment.
Appreciate this body,
Your home for this life this day.
Offer sustenance and support to your whole physical being.
Feet and legs,
Knees and thighs,
Waist and chest,
Arms and hands,
Neck and head.
Find that childlike place within,
Where you keep your carefree and frivolous self,
The place of pure feelings.
Not bound by reason,
Your feelings can simmer or explode.
Express how they want and need to.
You are the cook.
As you look within,
You enter the realm of spirit,
The place of essence,
Where your unique self lives.
And when you bring yourself out to interact with the world,
This is the meeting place of self and other,
Where you can be seen for who you are,
Both by yourself and by others.
May you find yourself in the presence of others today.
Your gift today is to meet yourself.
