Let us begin now,
Finding your ideal comfortable position to get ready to wind down,
To relax and to sleep.
Where you are laying now,
Feel the points where your body is touching.
As you breathe in,
Feel all of these points soften.
Feel your body become heavy.
The feet,
The leg,
The waist.
Breathing and relaxing your body.
Feeling your stomach and any knot,
Any tension in the stomach.
Begin to just feel an easeful,
Relaxing warm move from your stomach throughout your entire body.
And feeling your eyes starting to naturally soften.
Softening your entire face.
Relaxing your neck,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Relaxing your back,
Feeling completely grounded.
Imagine you are walking along a serene mountain path.
Long tall grass is swaying in the gentle wind.
Birds cascade above you,
Swirling in the clear sky.
Boulders scatter across the lands,
Leading your eye to the distant mountainous peaks and the great tall trees that rise and reach for the sunlight.
You see rivers weaving down the mountains,
Finding their natural way amongst the sloping hills,
The rocks,
Ferns and wild pine.
As you walk along,
You feel the fresh mountain air circulating through you,
Renewing you with each breath you take.
Flowers open from the cracks of the path,
Creating life where there seemingly could be none.
Everything is humming and vibrating with the vitality and energy of life in the far off distance.
A hawk opens its wings to catch the wind and you see this great bird basking for a moment before lifting and spiraling up towards the sun.
Grateful to be connecting to such beauty,
You come across a circle clearing,
Tucked off the path,
Surrounded in pine,
Ferns and other native plants.
You can smell the dense earth as you begin to set up your tent and gather up dry pine cones and wood to make a small fire.
The sky is turning a striking orange with indigo streaks mixing with the soft clouds.
Seated there,
You feel a great sense of calm and peace.
Protected by the pines,
The fire flickers and casts its warm glow over you.
The stars begin to shine above.
You begin to breathe deeply into your belly,
Smelling the burning wood.
You hear an inner voice of intuition.
I am one here.
I am connected to all things,
To all things.
As you look up,
You feel a warm presence in your heart.
You see a dog sitting in between the trees at the edge of the clearing.
It is completely still and looking into the fire in front of you.
Its fur is white and long and almost shines in the firelight.
You feel incredibly connected to this animal and don't feel at all threatened by its presence.
The warm feeling in your heart expands and the dog looks up at you.
A shine from the fire catches its eye and he turns and walks into the trees.
Intuitively,
You stand and begin to follow behind it,
Following a feeling of curiosity.
As you begin to walk,
The firelight grows dimmer behind you and through the tops of the trees,
The starlight filters through.
You see the shadows of pine trees in a dark and deep blue light.
You see the outline of the white dog illumined against the dark.
You hear a voice once again,
I am never alone.
I am one with all of life.
As you hear this voice,
You come to another clearing and see before you a glowing pool of water.
The stars are shining in the stillness of the water and you notice the white dog right at the water's edge.
It is looking calmly,
Directly at you.
You walk towards the water and as you come closer,
You begin to feel tears welling up inside you.
You feel the warm energy build suddenly and you feel your heart beating in your chest,
Yet your hands are relaxed.
You feel completely at ease as you stand within a few feet of the dog.
It does not even move,
Instead it lays down on its stomach and looks towards the water.
You sit down at the edge on a small rock and take it all in.
You feel an immense space all around you.
The stars glow and flicker in the still water.
You hear only the soft hum of insects and can almost perceive the sound of the stars in this depth of space.
After a few moments,
You see a great light begin to cast down onto the water.
You see the moon has risen from out behind a mountain,
Casting right down into the clearing.
The water is filled with an iridescent glow,
A silvery blue.
The white dog looks up,
Its eyes dilated,
And it begins to howl into the night sky.
In this instant,
You see your reflection in the water,
Lit up by the moon,
Yet as you look,
You see and also sense a beautiful loving energy all around you.
In the water,
You see great eyes looking at you,
Shining,
Both feminine and masculine at the same time.
Captivated by the sight,
You begin to notice your reflection fading in the water,
Being replaced with a glowing form of indigo and violet light beaming from the water.
A feeling of immense love washes over you and a voice speaks in this moment.
Do not fear,
Dearest one,
I am here for you.
I am your protector.
I am your guardian.
I am within you and around you,
Always.
I come in the form of trust.
I am courage and I am resilience.
When you are still and patient,
I am here in the depth of imagination.
I am here in silence.
I am you,
Yet also not you.
Right now,
I am a reminder of the soul that you are.
A reflection of truth.
You have journeyed here to connect with life and to find clarity.
Know then,
You are love itself.
You are the beauty of all of life.
Know that your purpose is to be in touch with each unfolding moment,
To be and witness life as it is in the suffering,
In the dark,
When you are in fear,
When you are alone,
When there is no hope.
Lightly,
Dear one,
Let it all wash through you.
As clear as the mountain air,
As calm as the blue sky,
As spectacular as the orange sunset,
As gentle as the shining stars,
That I am with you.
Dear one,
I will never leave you.
You are always connected to the infinite stream of light.
Dwell in this in each moment.
Remember me.
Remember the beauty of your nature.
You are infinite and unbounded.
In connection to all of life,
Love is the fabric of creation.
You are a thread in the tapestry of the stars.
You are infinite and unbounded.
You are connected to all of life and life is the fabric of love and love is the fabric of creation.
You are a thread in the tapestry of the stars.
A light of energy cascades from within your stomach,
Through your legs and feet,
All through your chest,
Arms and hands and up the back of your spine.
An immense feeling of energy hums on the top of your head.
Your whole body is lengthened as you are immersed in the experience of this connection.
You catch a breath all the way in and everything settles in your body.
Rooted and grounded now,
Solid on the earth beneath you,
You feel a blissful essence beaming within.
You feel a wet feeling on your foot and toes and look down to see the white dog licking your foot.
She raises her head,
Looking right into your eyes and you feel a smile come.
You make your way back to the fire,
Soft glowing embers now,
And see the white dog curled up by it.
You lay down on a mat and look up at the stars,
Taking it all in,
Drifting off into sleep.
I am one here,
I am connected to all things,
To all things.
