Welcome to this short visualisation to help you remove your limiting beliefs and replace them with new positive ones.
Ones you actually already have maybe hidden or just your limiting beliefs are currently more powerful than taking control.
We're going to work on removing those limiting beliefs and letting your positive beliefs have full range.
So what I'd like you to do is find somewhere comfortable where you know you won't be disturbed for the next ten minutes or so.
Somewhere quiet where you can sit down or lie down and where you know you won't be disturbed.
So I'd like you to find that spot.
This is better off listening with headphones by the way.
So find your spot,
Get yourself comfortable.
I'd like you to close your eyes.
Just close your eyes and just think about relaxing.
And to help you relax just focus on your breathing.
Focus on that breath in,
That breath out.
With every breath just feel yourself relaxing more and more.
And focus on the rise and fall of your chest,
The rise and fall of your diaphragm.
With every breath just going deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Just feeling that pleasurable relaxation wash over you.
Letting your muscles relax.
Letting go of any cares and worries.
Suspending any judgement,
Any critical thinking.
And just letting yourself relax and letting these words go with you.
As you breathe in and out more and more slowly allowing you to relax more fully.
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
As you go down and down into a more relaxed state.
As you lie relaxed,
Comfortable,
You don't have to be aware of any sensations around you,
Any smells,
Any feelings.
Any you're aware of just help you relax more and more.
You just notice them and think that helps me relax.
You focus on your breathing.
Letting your body melt into the chair or bed.
Totally relaxed now.
I'd like you to imagine in your mind's eye that you're standing at the top of a winding spiral staircase that leads down,
So far down.
At the bottom is a bright shining light that is so enticing and attractive that you just want to start walking down that staircase.
Walking down and down,
Round and round.
With every step down you go you're feeling more relaxed but more and more confident,
Happier,
More comfortable.
You're just more present as you head down the staircase.
Taking those steps down and down,
Deeper and deeper towards the light and the light feels so good.
You have a sense of curiosity about what lies at the bottom.
You just walk slowly,
Step by step,
Down,
Deeper and deeper.
Feeling more relaxed as you go,
Feeling happier as you go towards the light which feels so good.
It's like an embrace flooding up the stairs to you as you go deeper down and down.
As you near the bottom you're feeling really relaxed.
As you step off the bottom stair,
I want you to imagine in front of you you can see a long narrow hall lined with many different doors stretching away.
It's a place you feel perfectly safe and secure.
I just want you to imagine moving forward down that hallway and move forward till you reach a place.
The one door which represents your life as it is now.
When you're ready,
Open that door.
Now step into the room.
The room has seemingly plain walls,
Nothing on them.
In the middle of the room there's just a wastebasket standing there,
Small bin.
As you look around the room again you notice that actually the walls are covered with small bits of paper of two different colours like post-it notes.
I'll let you know a secret.
One set of those coloured bits of paper represents your old limiting beliefs which have held you back in the past,
Held you back even now in the present which you're ready to let go of.
The other colour represents all your positive ones,
The amazing positive beliefs you currently hold.
Now these colour flags are just like bits of paper,
Just like post-it notes,
But they've got your beliefs written all over them.
Now,
What if in your imagination you rip down all those old negative beliefs very,
Very quickly at the speed of thought,
Rip them off those walls and hurl them into that waste paper basket?
That's it.
So when you look around,
Magically,
In a puff of smoke they're now all gone and only your positive coloured beliefs remain on the walls.
Now allow that colour of all your empowering positive beliefs to expand.
That's right.
To fill the walls,
The ceiling,
The floors.
Let that colour fill the whole room.
Let it spill over you,
Fill your body,
Your powerful mind.
Let it fill you with a bright coloured light full of positive,
Empowering energy that enters you in such a wonderful and beautifully blissful way.
Now,
As soon as you've found this room,
This whole room filled with only positive beliefs and yourself filled only with positive beliefs,
I'd like you to leave this room filled only with those positive beliefs,
With that empowerment now and in your much more wonderful future that you can and will create as a result of the changes that were made here,
Weren't they?
They are now part of your powerful new insights,
Learnings and understandings that allow you to go for what you want in life from this day forth.
Allow you to succeed,
Allow you to be determined,
Allow you to be courageous.
Now,
Notice already you have a sensation of feeling lighter,
Of feeling more confident,
Of feeling more empowered and just positively different in so many surprising delightful ways.
You can lighten up about so many things.
Can you not?
Perhaps you just feel desire and determination to make your life what you truly,
Deeply want it to be.
Knowing and believing fully that you can do so at all levels of your mind and that's that.
Now,
I'd like you to turn around and feeling that confidence,
Feeling those empowering positive new beliefs,
Walk back to the stairs and smiling,
Start to climb the stairs,
Holding on to those new beliefs,
That new confidence,
That new determination,
That new desire,
Taking it back into your life as you climb higher and higher,
Feeling lighter and happier and empowered and more confident and full of positive beliefs and energy.
Higher and higher and higher till you step off the top stair into the blazing sunlight with a smile in your heart and on your face.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Now,
Listen to this as many times as you need to.
Imagine this place as many times as you need to.
You are capable of so,
So much.
