Hi,

This is Janee,

And welcome to Yoga Nidra,

The Hammock.

As you lay back in a comfortable position,

Feel into your body and notice if your body needs a blanket,

A pillow under the knees,

Or a little movement.

Take a breath as you create space to take care of your body.

Grab what you need,

Do a stretch,

And come back to settling down into your space.

Feel into the energy of calm,

Slow,

And slip into full permission.

Remind your body that this is a time for rest.

The intention for this practice will be repeated three times.

You may repeat this intention in your head,

Or just listen.

Freedom and ease unwind my body with a supportive and cradling sensation.

I drift into comfort and well-being.

I drift into comfort and well-being.

Imagine yourself laying in a hammock,

The fabric gently swaying your body as if you were being rocked to sleep.

Visualize your surroundings,

Connect and enjoy the scenery.

Feel into the warmth of your body,

And as you imagine looking up at the sky slow your mind.

Feel your body sink in and breathe.

Connect to the in and out of your natural breath.

Slow,

Peaceful,

Soothing.

Imagine the sway of the body weightless and free.

Feel your body.

Take another breath and find yourself back in your space.

Feel your thumb massage each finger.

Feel the softness of your limbs,

Your head,

And your heels.

Open your ears to your surroundings as you stretch and reawaken.

Softly blink open your eyes and take in what's here with curiosity.

Be here in the now.

Linger and stay as long as you would like.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

Namaste.
