And welcome to a quick energy reboot.
This is a very simple short Qigong practice.
Many of you know it as the warmup that I teach to help you get ready for your meditation practice,
But this is also just a great energetic practice for any time of day that you need to reset,
Come back to your energy,
Shake something off,
And just reinvigorate yourself a little bit.
So if you're ready,
Take a comfortable seat wherever you are,
And let's go ahead and dive.
We're going to do is clap our hands together and bring some heat into the palms so that we can get some energy moving through the body once you feel that heat in the hands we're gonna bring the hands to the knees and start warming the knees breathing in And pulling that energy up the thighs,
Starting to move energy through heat.
Hooking those hands,
Bringing them right into the hip flexors,
And then inhaling to elongate your spine,
Stretch those arms.
Let those central channels get nice and tall,
Breathing in.
Good.
Exhaling,
Hands come to belly,
Big circles on the belly.
Fronts of fists come to lower back,
Big circles on the lower back.
Beautiful.
Hands come to heart.
Big circles on the heart.
Sorry I just hit my mic.
Big circles around the heart.
Maybe pausing at the heart for a moment here.
Maybe some tapping.
How is your heart?
Good.
Pulling that energy down the throat.
Giving the ears a little pull,
And taking the knuckles of the thumbs to the eyes,
Going around the eyes,
Around the nose,
Around the mouth,
Down the chin,
Up the jaw,
Over the ears.
Again,
Around the eyes,
Around the nose,
Around the mouth,
Down the chin,
Up the jaw,
Over the ears.
Then we're going to take really gentle fists.
And start knock knock knock down the central channels of the skull down the back of the neck.
Back up towards the hairline.
And again.
Starting to break up some chi in the body.
Wake up the energy.
Right hand comes to left trap.
Switching sides.
Good.
Go down left arm and bring it back up to time.
Just waking up the energy,
Switch sides.
Good.
Bring out your left leg.
Down and back up.
Good,
Switch sides.
Down and back up.
Waking up the box Good.
Coming back to your seat.
Finding your meditative posture,
Close the eyes,
Take a breath in,
Notice the effect.
Beautiful.
Clapping those hands together one more time.
And we are gonna smooth down the energy,
Smoothing it down the face,
Down the ears,
Just like you're in a shower of your own energy.
Like your hands have soap and magnets and we are pulling off everything that we don't need.
Down the arms.
Letting the hands just clean up everything down the chest.
Down the belly.
Down the back.
Down the legs smoothing down that energy picking up anything you don't need along the way and then the hands are now holding all that energy and energy leads through the nubbies of the fingertips so all we need to do is flick,
Flick,
Flick,
Flick it out.
Shake out those wrists.
Palms come forward,
Take a breath in,
Repeat after me.
Ah,
Ah,
Ah.
Pettling in.
Relaxing into your breath and noticing the Okay,
That's all.
