Namaste.

My name is Jasmine Clemente and today we're going to be discussing the seven chakras of the body.

When you're ready,

I'd love for you to settle into a comfortable position,

Closing your eyes and lightly dropping your shoulders until they fall like feathers.

And then imagine a beautiful rainbow and think of the feeling that that it gives when you see the rainbow.

I usually think it's a blessing that there's luck in the air.

It's always a positive feeling when I see rainbows.

So each and every single person has seven chakras throughout their body and each chakra is associated with a different color.

Some people have these chakras halfway open,

So from 1 to 100 maybe some of these chakras are 50% open.

Some people may have them at 75 or 80% open,

Which is beautiful.

And some people may be going through some hard times and maybe they're 30% open,

So they're kind of dull and not as radiant as they can be and will be.

Because all of us have seven chakras,

So all of us can have them open if we know what they are and we are conscious and aware and mindful about opening each of these chakras.

And this is ancient wisdom that goes back thousands of years,

Spanning across many,

Many different religions all throughout the world that speak about these seven chakras in different ways.

So the first chakra is called the root chakra,

Which is associated with the color red.

This has to do with your home and your foundation.

So when we think of a tree,

A tree has roots and the roots dig deep into the earth.

And regardless of the sun that's shining and the rain that's falling on the leaves,

The tree still needs very strong roots in order to grow higher and higher and more luscious and stronger and bear fruit.

So the soil needs to be fertilized.

And the more fertilized the soil is,

The deeper the roots can go.

That's like us.

We need a home foundation,

Stability,

Something that keeps us grounded.

So no matter how we move through the world,

Where we travel to,

Or how many changes happen that may shake us to the core,

You know,

Because sometimes life surprises us,

It's important that we have a steady foundation,

Something that we can call home,

Whether it's a physical house or whether it's the security within our body that no matter where we go,

We feel that we bring home with us.

We are stable in our walk.

We feel safe.

We feel grounded.

And this also has to do with setting boundaries as well.

So wherever you go,

People kind of can feel and they know,

Okay,

There's certain boundaries here that I can't cross.

And so the boundaries are to protect you so you feel safe and secure.

And that's what keeps you rooted and stable.

So no matter,

Again,

How many changes happen throughout life,

There's a stability.

There's a core foundation within you that cannot be uprooted and shaken because it's yours.

It's your foundation.

So that's the root chakra.

Moving up to the second chakra is called the sacral chakra.

It sounds like sacred to me.

I love that word.

And it's located right below the navel and it's associated with the color orange.

This has to do with your emotions,

Pleasure,

And joy.

What I love about this chakra is that when we think of emotions,

We tend to think of water.

And if someone hurts our feelings or if something happens that just makes us sad,

It's really important to honor these feelings and allow ourselves to cry if we need to cry,

To let these feelings flow through our body to get a nice release.

When we do that,

When we release what is no longer serving us,

We create space for the new.

And so we can experience joy and pleasure because we're honoring what makes us sad.

What you don't want to happen is to confuse your feelings so much to the point that you feel emotionally numb or you can't really identify what you're feeling and so you block it and you're like,

Well,

I don't really know how I feel and you get confused.

We don't want that.

What we want is to say,

No,

This this was bothering me.

Well,

This hurts.

And to allow yourself to feel a little bit of pain and discomfort,

Whether it's a lot or a little bit,

Let yourself cry.

Let those feelings flow through your body.

And then when you honor and embrace those uncomfortable feelings,

You will also embrace the joy and the pleasure and the things that make you feel good because nothing is blocking you.

So this is a beautiful,

Beautiful chakra,

The color orange.

Now we're moving up to the solar plexus.

This is the third chakra.

The solar plexus is associated with the color yellow and this has to do with your willpower,

Your confidence,

Your self-esteem,

Your autonomy,

Your individuality.

What I love about this is that if you're able to move beyond the second chakra in a positive way,

Where you do honor your emotions,

Then yes,

You can also feel confidence about who you are.

You are confident in your uniqueness,

In your individuality and you cannot be manipulated with.

You won't blend into the background of a group or lose your voice because you know who you are.

And you're comfortable in your own skin,

Whether you have a good day or a bad day.

And you're just confident.

You're confident because you know who you are.

It's not an arrogance.

It's more of a this is me,

This is how I'm different and I honor me and where I'm going and what I want.

And so you can make decisions with clarity that are your decisions.

Now moving up is the fourth chakra which is the heart chakra.

This is associated with the color green and this has to do with not only your romantic relationships but also your business relationships and your platonic friendships and family.

This has to do with all relationships all around.

Now again if you know who you are and you're confident about it,

Then you know what you bring to the table as far as being in a relationship and not trying to change who you are or be afraid or be timid.

But you're like this is me and I love me.

This is who I am.

So you're able to love others for who they are and how they're different.

You want this heart chakra to be open and fluid.

And so when this heart chakra,

When this chakra is healthy,

You're in relationships not from survival mode because you need to take from the person.

But you're in it because you want to be there because you already have stability of your own.

You're already confident about who you are.

You already feel joy.

So you're in this relationship to give.

And so there's a good reciprocity going on.

There's a good give-and-take between both people or both parties.

And so these relationships are supportive and healthy and vibrant.

And so abundance also comes from this heart chakra.

Opportunities open up.

People trust you.

They feel good around you.

So you'll get a free ticket or a free gift or a promotion.

You know because people like you.

They feel safe and comfortable around you.

People trust you because again there's a give-and-take that feels really good.

So abundance,

Whether in the form of finances or material gifts,

Also comes through this chakra when it's open.

Now moving along is the fifth chakra,

The throat chakra.

This has to do with your communication skills.

And it's associated with like a turquoise blue.

So like a light blue.

And this has to do with you communicating where you don't speak low in a fainted whisper.

You're not timid.

You can speak up for yourself.

But you're also not dominating the conversations or overpowering other people.

That you speak in a nice volume and with a nice time frame where you can give and take and listen and speak and take turns.

Having a nice conversation.

This can also,

When this is open,

You may even be on stage doing motivational speaks,

Conversations,

I'm sorry,

Speeches or singing.

Funny how I say that during the fifth chakra as I'm explaining it.

You see right there even if you make a little mistake,

It's okay,

Right?

You can kind of backtrack and then explain it.

That has to do with your communication being clear and open and fluid.

So you can speak and get your point across.

It's a beautiful,

Beautiful chakra as they all are.

Moving up now is the sixth chakra which is the third eye chakra.

This is located in between both of your eyebrows but right above in the center of your forehead.

When your third eye chakra is open,

You have a little bit of psychic ability.

You're able to see things before they happen and also you're able to see beyond the surface of things,

Places and people.

So meaning regardless of what a person looks like,

Whether they're blonde or brunettes,

Whether they're older or younger,

A child or a senior citizen,

Regardless of the biases that we may all have from society,

You can basically see the energy within a person.

And so you see beyond the surface,

Beyond the skin color,

Beyond the age,

Beyond the body frame or anything of the surface.

So you see beyond it because your third eye is open.

You're looking behind the curtain.

You see energy basically.

And now moving on up is the seventh crown chakra.

This is the final chakra.

This is associated with the color purple or lavender.

This basically has to do with you having universal wisdom.

Now yes,

The crown chakra is located at the head.

Just think of a king or a queen that wears their crown.

It symbolizes universal wisdom.

And so not just textbook intelligence or street smarts but the kind of wisdom that has to do with humanity,

Where we are all from and where we're going and what we all need and want.

It's a universal wisdom.

And so when you have ideas that come through your mind,

Whether you have a dream at night or just a aha moment,

Like,

Oh my God,

I have this great idea.

It's because there's a wisdom within you that wants to advance society or advance someone else's life,

Whether it's your best friend or your neighbor or your child's life.

But basically,

There's a wisdom within you that when you think of an idea,

The idea serves other people.

This is wisdom at its finest.

So again,

I hope you really enjoyed this.

I just explained the seven chakras of the body.

And this has many layers to it.

You can study this and talk about the pros and the cons or the light and the shadow and talk about if you're not opening the chakra,

Why it's not opened.

There's so many different areas that you can focus on when it comes to the seven chakras.

But this was just a basic outline.

So you know what they are,

Where they're located in the body,

What their colors are,

And then you can go from there.

Thank you for listening.

And namaste.
