Start your day by connecting to your spirit, your energy, and your intuition. Sit with dreams for a few moments and then call up a gentle cleansing light to clarify the energy that's yours and dissolve what's not so that you can enter your day from a clear frame of mind, energetically cleansed and ready to move through whatever the day may hold.

Good morning.

Welcome to this meditation to start your day by balancing your energy and preparing it to move through the rest of your day.

Take a moment to get comfortable,

Especially if you're just waking up.

Sit upright so you don't fall back asleep again.

Take some nice,

Deep breaths,

Welcoming fresh oxygen into your body.

Feel free to stretch,

Move,

Fidget if you need to.

Let's take a moment to acknowledge your sleep and your dreams.

Recall any specific images,

Themes,

Or moods that appeared in your dreams or throughout the night.

This could include body sensations or thoughts you find yourself waking with.

As you do this,

You may want to name these symbols or even write them down if you happen to keep a journal by your bed.

Let's give the remnants of sleep a little bit of space in your mind.

As you consider the images,

Moods,

Thoughts,

Or symbols that sat with you at night,

Are there any that are useful or interesting for you?

Anything that reflects your current feelings or any messages that came through for you?

This may or may not be obvious right away.

Just give it a moment to sit with.

Now place your hands over your solar plexus,

Which is just above your belly button.

Imagine a spark,

A little fire warming this place.

This is the center of your body,

A source of your power and intention.

Allow it to warm your center gently,

Waking you up.

Feel the blood flowing through your body,

This gentle fire inviting the flow of water,

Blood,

And energy through your body and your system.

Breathe into this place.

Now feel into your feet,

Your connection to the earth.

Acknowledge the land you are on and your relationship with this particular part of the world.

Feel your groundedness,

Your place in the world.

Connect way below your feet,

Imagining your roots going up and down.

Allow this light to flow down through your body like a waterfall,

Gently releasing anything that is not in alignment with your highest good.

Let it melt away,

Returning its energy to source.

Imagine this beautiful loving light surrounding you,

Filling you with loving,

Protective energy.

Send this energy out with your mind to anyone who might need it,

Anyone who you love or who might be struggling a little bit right now.

Now return to your own body,

Your own light.

Clarify it once again.

Say out loud or in your mind,

I release any energy that's not mine,

That doesn't belong with me,

In alignment with my highest good.

Feel free to use your own words if that works better for you.
