You will drift off to sleep with the healing power of gratitude flowing through you.
Go ahead and get comfortable.
Lie down.
Cover yourself with a soft blanket and begin to allow the bed beneath you to safely and warmly hold you and support you.
Let's bring peace and calm to your body.
Taking a nice refreshing breath in and a longer exhale out.
Sinking deeper into comfort with each breath you take.
Gently close your eyes.
Soften your forehead as you let the thoughts of the day drift away.
Release your jaw.
Taking another deep breath in and exhale letting it go.
Feel your shoulders supported,
Your back softly melting into your bed.
Feel your abdomen resting and softening.
Relax your legs,
Your feet,
Your toes.
Embody the essence of peace and calm as we move into this space of gratitude.
As you reflect on your day,
What is a moment you are grateful for?
It doesn't have to be big.
Just a small moment that stands out to you.
Maybe it was a moment of quiet.
A fresh breeze upon your skin.
A familiar face.
Something that made you smile or pause to take it in.
And maybe it is the very comfort of your bed.
Let the warm feeling of that memory rise naturally within you.
If nothing comes that's okay.
This breath,
This moment of rest is enough.
Now let's move from your mind into your body.
Where do you feel the warmth of that gratitude for that moment of your day within your body?
The softness in your chest?
The warmth in your belly?
A subtle expansion somewhere within?
Tune into that subtle sensation,
That warmth of gratitude.
Let that small good feeling grow just a little.
Feel this beautiful feeling of gratitude begin to move through your body.
Feeling your chest.
Your abdomen.
Moving through your arms to your fingertips.
Gliding through your legs to your toes.
Touching and healing every cell within you.
From the bottom of your feet to the very top of your head.
As you drift into sleep,
You will embody the warmth,
The healing,
The essence of gratitude.
And you awake with a calm,
Peaceful,
Rejuvenated energy.
As you welcome sleep,
Let these words float softly through you.
