Good morning.
This is Julie Scan and thank you for joining me in this morning meditation designed to allow you to create a beautiful day of being present so that you may experience all of the magic is about to bring your way.
I truly believe that the secret to creating a meaningful and exciting day relies upon these three key elements.
The first is that we show up for the day as our true authentic selves.
The second is that our minds and our hearts are open to experiencing deep and genuine connection.
And finally,
That we acknowledge and celebrate everything there is to be grateful for throughout the entire day.
During this 10 minute meditation,
I will be guiding you through a series of three questions,
Each one relating to one of the key elements that I just mentioned.
Now,
If you find your thoughts drifting,
That is completely okay and totally normal.
Just come back to your breath and focus your thoughts on the present question or mantra.
Now,
Wherever you are,
And however you feel,
Please know that I am deeply grateful that you are here.
So together,
Let's get ourselves comfortable in a seated or lying position and gently close your eyes.
Let's take a deep breath in and let it all out.
One more time,
Let's take a deep breath in.
And let it all out.
For the next few minutes,
And as you continue your breathing,
Finish the sentence in your mind,
I am.
I am.
Now allow the answers to just float into your mind,
Witness them,
Acknowledge them,
And then just let them go.
If at any point you find yourself thinking too hard,
Just simply repeat the mantra to yourself,
I am.
Just do it.
Together,
Let's take a deep breath in and let it go.
Let's bring our awareness back to our breath and ask yourself this question,
I am beautifully connected to.
Now this could be a part of yourself,
Another person,
An experience.
Again,
Anything that comes to your mind,
Acknowledge it,
Appreciate it,
Witness it,
And then let it go.
If over the next few minutes you find your mind wandering,
Simply repeat the affirmation,
I am beautifully connected.
Let's take a deep breath in and let it go.
Together,
Let's take one deep breath in and let it all out.
Now on your next inhale,
Finish the sentence,
I am grateful for,
Or I am thankful for.
For the next few minutes,
Focus your intention on everything there is to be grateful for.
