This is Julie Scone and I call this mini meditation,
Little Things.
Begin to slow your breathing.
Listen to the sound of each inhale and exhale.
Allow each breath to fill you with droplets of gratitude.
Starting with the soles of your feet,
Slowly moving to the crown of your head.
Guide your breath into every cell of your body.
As your breath flows for you in and out,
Repeat the words to yourself,
Thank you.
When you feel ready,
Close your eyes and answer this question in your mind.
What are the little things that you are grateful for today?
Allow the answers to float to the surface of your mind,
Acknowledge them,
Send them gratitude and then let them drift away.
I will give you some time to once again answer the question in your mind,
What are the little things you are grateful for today?
Place your hands on your hearts and once again fill this moment and your day ahead with gratitude by simply repeating the words,
Thank you.
