Welcome to this meditation on embracing opposites within yourself and your relationship.
Just take a moment to settle into a comfortable position,
Maybe pulling your spine up so it's beautiful and long,
Maybe opening your heart space and your chest and your arms and letting some beautiful breath into your body.
And if it's safe to do so,
Closing your eyes.
Just giving yourself a few moments of peace.
Focus on your breath.
Focus on how it feels to inhale following the breath.
And focus on how you can let your body relax on the exhale and let go.
Keep breathing naturally.
Life and love are full of contrasts,
Independence and connection,
Softness and strength,
Freedom and devotion.
These opposites are not in conflict.
They are a rhythm of balance,
The dance of wholeness.
And when we welcome and honor both sides,
We create the space for deeper harmony within ourselves and greater connection with our partner.
So with each breath,
We'll explore and embrace these contrasts,
Letting go of judgment and opening to the beauty of duality.
Let your breath guide you as we begin.
