Hello and welcome to this meditation.
My name is Karina Khalila.
I am a rebirthing breathwork practitioner,
A sound healer and a lover of life.
It is an honor to be sharing this meditation with you that I love to do in my trainings.
It is a meditation for the base chakra to connect downwards to the earth into our own sense of safety,
Into our own sense of security and into the source of all abundance of life.
This meditation will include breath and sound and if you wish to include movement on your own,
You are so welcome to do that.
The way that we will use breath and sound will stimulate and energize the base chakra.
It should leave you feeling tingly,
Connected,
Love-filled,
Joyful,
Grounded.
Sounds good,
Doesn't it?
So let's get started.
I invite you to close your eyes and find a comfortable position to sit or lie down in.
I invite you to drink in a long,
Deep breath down into the pit of your belly and then open mouth,
Let it go,
Sigh it all the way out.
Let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go,
All the way to the end of your breath.
And then as you reach the bottom of the breath,
I invite you to drink in another long,
Deep breath in all the way down into the pit of the belly and let it go,
Sigh it out.
All the way to the end of the breath,
Clearing out any old breath that is left at the bottom of the lungs.
And then again,
Drink in another deep breath.
Breathing all the way down into the pit of the belly.
Let it go.
Return back to a natural flow of breath.
I invite you to draw your awareness down and into your body if you haven't already.
Take a moment to scan your whole body.
Notice what starts to come to life as you tune your awareness inward.
Notice if there is any pops of sensation,
Any tension that you may be holding onto.
You might notice any emotions or feelings that may be present.
And rather than trying to figure out what's going on in your body,
Rather than trying to fix or change anything that is here,
I invite you just to welcome it.
You might like to say to yourself,
Hello,
Welcome.
Thank you for being here.
Self-love is all about how we speak to ourself,
The conversation that we have within.
And instead of labeling anything inside you to be bad or not good,
Instead,
We welcome it.
Thank you for being here.
Into that,
I invite you to drink in a long,
Deep breath through your nose.
Let it go,
Sigh it out.
Let it go.
This creates an atmosphere of safety within.
To cultivate a deeper sense of safety,
I'm gonna invite you to drop your awareness all the way down,
Down to your base chakra,
Your perineum.
I invite you to pull your perineum in and up just a few times.
You might feel it flutter.
You might notice an increase in a sense of heat.
Keep pulling it in and up.
Keep going until you start to feel a tingling sensation at your base.
This energy center is responsible for safety,
Security,
Connection to earth,
The source of all abundance of life.
I invite you to take a long,
Deep breath in all the way down into the base chakra.
Open mouth,
Sigh it out.
Again,
Breathing all the way down,
Allowing your pelvic floor to soften and open as you breathe in.
And then open mouth,
Pull the perineum in and up.
Breathing in.
Breathing out,
Pulling the perineum in and up.
Breathing in,
Base chakra opens downward towards the earth.
Breathing out,
Pulling in and up.
We're gonna repeat that a few times,
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Breathing in,
Release.
Breathing out,
Contract.
Breathing in,
Release.
Breathing out,
Contract.
Breathing in,
Release.
Breathing out,
Contract.
Breathing in.
Breathing out,
Contract.
Breathing out.
Breathing in.
Do three more together.
Last one.
Pull the pelvic floor in and up and hold.
Drink in another deep breath.
And allow that tingly,
Warm sensation to fill your entire body.
Allow it to spread like wildfire.
Imagine that that experience,
That sensation that you are cultivating is the sensation of safety.
And you allow that sensation to take up space with you.
It fills any parts of you that feel disconnected,
Numb,
Abandoned.
It fills any part of you that feels tense,
Feel tight.
It allows a sense of relaxation and softening.
You may find that your body wishes to move or shimmy or shake or sway.
As you allow that sensation to fully fill you,
All the way down to the tips of your fingers.
It swirls around your heart.
Lengthens through your spine,
Up and down through the crown of your head.
Lengthens downwards all the way down to the tips of your toes.
And up and down through your nose.
And up and down through your mouth.
And up and down through your nose.
And up and down through your mouth.
And up and down through your nose.
And up and down through your mouth.
And up and down through your mouth.
And up and down through your mouth.
And up and down through your mouth.
And up and down through your mouth.
Open mouth,
Let it go.
Breath in for ooh.
Take a deep breath in and allow the pelvic floor to drop and open.
Open mouth,
Sigh it out,
Pull the pelvic floor in and up.
Again.
Breathing out through your nose.
Breathing in,
Sigh.
Breathing in,
Opening pelvic floor.
Breathing out,
Sigh.
Again,
For ooh.
Take another full deep breath in.
Open mouth,
Let it go.
I invite you just to be with the sensations,
With the textures,
With the experience of your base energy center.
One last time,
Take a full deep breath in.
Let it go,
Sigh it out.
Thank you for joining me in this meditation today.
Namaste.
