Welcome to become the earth.

Take a few deep breaths into your body.

Together we are going to go for a walk.

You are here in a beautiful ancient redwood forest.

Look around,

Smell the forest,

Inhale the scent of wood,

Of leaves,

Of warm soil,

Of wind.

Light filters down all around you.

Through the canopy,

Flecks of dust shimmering in the air.

Smell of goodness.

Smell the goodness.

The wilderness has a smell.

You are a part of this.

Feel your feet naked on the earth.

Feel the dirt between your toes.

How good it feels to be home.

There is a path in front of you.

Leading deeper into the green.

Let's take a walk.

You and I.

Start walking.

As you walk,

Notice what is around you.

What do you see?

Can you feel the air change?

When you walk through the shade,

Can you hear the wind,

The birds,

The insects?

Can you hear the earth breathing?

Up ahead,

The path splits into two.

Look at each path in front of you.

There is a knowing in you.

Which way do you go?

Take this chosen path.

Deeper into nature's cathedral.

Keep walking.

Breathe easily.

With each step.

With each step.

Let go of your humanness.

Let go.

Soon,

You will notice a tree.

Do you see it now?

It is special.

Brighter than the rest.

Behold this tree.

Stop walking.

And stand before this tree.

What do you see?

Look deeper.

Run your fingers over the bark.

Feel the textures of its body.

This sacred tree.

Notice the colors.

The shape of the leaves.

How do you feel next to this tree?

Sniff it.

Take a deep breath.

Can you smell how long this tree has been alive?

Take it in.

Every inch.

Feel the energy of this tree.

Emanating.

Extending.

Encountering you.

Feel the energy of this tree.

How does this tree meet your energy?

What does it feel like?

You look down now.

You didn't notice at first.

But now you see.

You see the roots of this ancient tree.

So immense.

Rising from the dirt.

Gnarled with age.

You feel called to climb these roots.

Do that now.

Explore the hidden,

Secret pockets of this tree.

What is here for you?

Do you see that hole over there?

In the roots?

Near the base of the tree?

Do you see that hole?

The one you can crawl through?

Go in.

Go into this hole now.

You enter.

It is warm.

Dark.

Dusty.

You are inside the tree.

You become the tree now.

Be here.

Be the tree.

Feel the energy of life moving up from your deep roots.

Feel the sap rising in your veins.

You are the tree.

The tree is you.

How did you forget?

Feel the wind brushing.

Pushing against your trunk.

Sway in the breeze.

A small bird lands in your branches.

You feel it all.

Even the worms moving in your roots.

Pulsing.

Pulsing.

Life is pulsing through you.

Feel your heart beat.

Feel your heart beat with the tree.

Feel the heartbeat behind everything.

You are the tree.

Do you remember?

You have the memories of the tree.

You can remember everything you have seen.

Go back to the beginning now.

Go back.

Feel yourself a small,

Aching sprout.

First flame of life.

Pushing through the dirt.

Pulsing.

Pulsing.

Pulsing.

You move towards the light.

The warmth.

The wetness.

Of earth.

Your first leaves emerging.

Reaching.

Your stem growing stronger.

Lengthening.

You grow.

You grow.

It is effortless to be you.

Reach towards the sky.

Feel yourself extend.

Feel yourself expand.

Ring by ring by ring.

Extending.

Growing.

Pulsing.

Slowly.

Slowly.

Slowly.

Over great spans of time.

See the forest grow.

Watch the forest evolve around you.

Great beasts move far below.

You hear the sound of bear foraging in the bushes.

An eagle makes a nest in your branches.

The light comes.

The night descends.

Over and over and over.

You feel the light feed you.

You soak in the rain through your roots.

And you thicken with age.

Become more solid.

Storms shake your limbs.

Sway in the wind.

Be moved.

Let life move you.

Each year,

Your arms grow heavy with leaves.

At your feet,

Things grow.

Things die.

Things rot and return to the dirt.

Earth,

Blood,

Good food bubbling up through your roots.

You receive.

You receive.

You receive.

Feel yourself receive.

All that is here.

Now go into your roots.

Feel where they splinter and connect.

Feel the energy extending out from you.

Feel yourself woven with the threads of mycelial beings.

Electrifying the earth.

Transforming death into life with joy.

You have watched life unfold for hundreds of years.

Growing.

Pulsing.

Receiving.

Listening.

Deepening.

A different knowing lives in you now.

This tree has a message.

A message just for you.

A message you came here to find.

Receive it now.

Let it rise up in you.

Like sap.

Like life.

Feel this knowing spread warmth from your roots to the very tips of your branches.

This glow of knowing.

Breathe this message into your heart.

Breathe into the heartbeat of all.

Breathe.

Anchor this knowing in you.

Earth medicine.

Earth consciousness.

Is already yours.

It is time.

It is time.

It is time to go back.

But before you do,

Give your gratitude to this tree.

Offer your gratitude for its sacred wisdom.

For the blessing of this medicine.

For the remembrance.

Give it now.

When you are ready to leave.

Slowly move your fingers and toes.

Come back to your body.

Come back and crawl out of your sacred tree.

See yourself leave the tree.

You are in your body.

This is you.

You are here.

Touch the tree one last time and remember this is planet earth and you belong here.
