This is a third eye meditation to help us focus on our inner wisdom and our intuition.
So let's sit comfortably or lay down and begin to soften our eyebrows,
Cheekbones,
And mouth.
Let's soften any tension we are holding in the back of our neck,
In our shoulders,
And feel that relaxation go down our arms.
Take a moment to breathe into any other areas which call to you,
Any areas you would like to feel more relaxed where you might be holding on to stress.
And let's bring our attention to that space between our eyebrows,
Our third eye.
This is the energy center for wisdom,
For our intuition,
Where we get back in touch with ourselves,
A place of knowing.
And sometimes when we are feeling a bit of anxiety or uncertainty,
It helps to breathe into this space to allow some fresh air to enter our bodies.
So let's visualize that now,
Breathing in through our third eye,
The air coming into our bodies through this space,
The oxygen,
The freshness,
The clean beautiful air entering our bodies through the third eye.
This cleansing breath entering this space of inner knowing and wisdom.
Perhaps we see this breath,
It is white,
Extending through our extremities,
This life-giving breath,
This energy that flows through us.
When we are looking for answers,
We are often coming from a place of stress.
We might feel that need to know.
We might feel anxiety around us and within us.
We have questions and they might even overwhelm us.
Let us calmly notice these questions,
These worries,
And take a moment to name them,
To recognize them.
As we take a moment now,
Let's breathe and let them come up.
Now that we have acknowledged some of our worries,
These uncertainties,
Let us return to our breath,
Coming in through our third eye,
Our inner wisdom,
And let us visualize this white breath cleansing us,
Purifying us,
The beautiful energy of our breath.
As we focus on the power of our third eye,
Perhaps now we can see this breath as a deep,
Deep blue indigo,
The color of this energy center,
A purplish deep blue that is entering through our third eye.
It is filling our body with a vibrant,
Beautiful blue through our extremities,
Perhaps even swirling around us.
We can picture this vibrant blue around our head,
Within us,
Comforting us.
As our breath fills us and we are wrapped in this beautiful blue energy,
Let us take comfort in the power of our third eye.
We have an inner knowing that exists within us.
We might not have the answers to the questions that are swirling around,
But we know we have bigger answers within us.
Perhaps we can allow our minds to pause regarding the questions that surround us,
Pause regarding the worries.
We can return to these if we choose to,
But for now,
We will focus on our inner sense of knowing,
On the answers we already hold,
On what we know to be true for ourselves.
Let's take a moment to breathe in that beautiful blue light once more,
To allow our bodies to be filled with an indigo energy coming through our third eye and finding rest and peace within us.
Within our minds and hearts,
This inner wisdom lives and supports us.
It holds all of the answers that we need.
It lives inside us and we feel peace and security,
Knowing we can always return to the power of our breath and the wisdom of our third eye.
Let's bring an awareness to our breath and when you are ready,
To the physical body,
To your hands,
Your throat,
Your legs.
We can bring some movement to our feet.
Let's take in one more deep,
Beautiful breath together and if it feels right,
Perhaps we will smile to ourselves,
Whether physical or inwardly,
With the joy and peace that comes with connecting with your third eye and your own inner wisdom.
