This is a 20min befriending meditation which is also known as a 'Meta' or Loving-Kindness meditation. This supports cultivating a sense of friendliness towards someone you care about and yourself by repeating simple phrases of well-wishing. E.g. May you/I be safe and protected, may I/you be peaceful, may I/you live with ease. This longer version of my befriending meditation starts with a period of settling with an anchor and sensations of the body.
