Hello,
Beautiful ones,
And welcome to this meditation for inner peace.
Begin by sitting with your head,
Neck,
And spine straight,
Or sitting in whatever way feels comfortable to you that will allow you to feel relaxed yet alert.
And then begin by taking a nice full deep breath in and letting it out.
And then breathing in whatever way feels good to you,
Finding your breath in your body,
The rise and the fall,
The in and the out,
Giving yourself permission to make adjustments as you need to as we go throughout.
And if your mind wanders,
That's okay,
That's what minds do.
Just notice where it went and gently bring it back to your breath.
So we're going to use our power of imagery and visualization today.
So as you're breathing comfortably and easily,
Your hands resting on your body,
Feeling your bottom in the chair,
Noticing the sounds around you,
Begin to focus your attention inward and visualize yourself walking through a majestic forest.
The trees are growing tall all around you and gently swaying in the breeze.
The forest floor is soft and has ferns and small plants growing about.
Taking a deep breath in of this refreshing air,
Imagining that you can smell the dense forest around you.
You can see the sun dappling through the leaves and you can hear the sounds of this healing forest around you.
As you walk along each step you take makes you feel more and more connected to the nature of this forest.
The sound of trickling water catches your ears and you follow it.
You come to find a small beautiful stream curving through the forest.
The water is crystal clear and perhaps you step in to feel the water on your feet.
And as you step into the stream,
The water is crisp and cold but extremely invigorating.
You feel a wave of peace travel up your legs into your hips and pelvis,
Relaxing you deeply,
Traveling up into your abdomen and back all the way to your shoulders and down each arm,
Feeling so light and refreshed.
This wonderful sensations travels up your neck and into your head.
Perhaps this is the very essence of inner peace.
This stream represents the eternal flow of our lives.
It never stops running and it never ceases to trickle through the woods,
Supplying nature with fresh water.
Feel the rhythm of the stream and allow it to bring you peace and relaxation.
Now allowing the image of the forest and the stream to fade from your mind but bring along with you the calm and relaxation you discovered here in this stream of peace.
Acknowledging the flow of life in anything you do and everything that happens is a way to access your inner peace whenever you wish.
There are some techniques that you can use at any time to access the rhythms of this peace.
Moving from a sense to sense to experiencing the flow of life.
Bringing about a picture of yourself,
What you look like in your mind.
Becoming aware of your hands and notice the sensations of touch in your fingertips.
Notice what you're hearing.
The sound of my voice and the music.
What else is touching your ears?
Now taking a breath in through your nose and seeing if you can smell any fragrance or an aroma.
Accessing the sense of your sight,
Noticing the darkness or the colors or the shadows as they dance behind your closed eyelids.
Now bringing your home into your mind and remembering what this current room that you're sitting in or what looked like around you without opening your eyes.
Imagining the different things that are in the room with you.
Focusing on your hands once more,
Knowing where they're placed.
Can you feel any textures nearby?
Coming back to your sense of hearing.
Hearing the sound of my words,
The music,
Whatever else that you can hear right now.
Breathing deeply through your nose once again and seeing if you can smell anything or perhaps you even remember smell as you breathe.
Letting the darkness or the shadows behind your eyelids deeply calm your vision.
You have nowhere else to be right now.
Feeling so balanced and relaxed.
You're cultivating inner peace at this very moment.
Deep within yourself,
See if you can connect with the part of you that loves yourself.
You were born with this love.
It's never left you.
Perhaps you have just forgotten about it until now.
Focus deep within cultivating that love and that caring and that warmth towards yourself.
If that seems difficult,
Bring into your mind's eye someone that you do love and care about and see yourself with that person or being.
And as you cultivate this love,
Imagine that you can extend it out to everyone you know.
All of the nature around you,
Your entire town or city.
Feeling yourself sending this profound peace and love to the entire world.
Right now putting your full attention towards imagining world peace.
Understanding that you can see everyone accessing their own inner peace and love.
By doing this,
You're sending billions of people throughout the world the great power of love and peace.
Bringing to mind what that might look like for you.
What would symbolize world peace?
And now gathering up the love and the compassion that you need for your day and coming back into your senses.
Noticing the shadows dancing behind your eyelids.
Noticing the breath in your body.
The sound of my voice and the physical sensations in your hands.
Feeling your bottom as it sits in the chair.
And then taking a nice deep full cleansing breath and letting your awareness return to your surroundings.
But always remember your image of world peace that you created from a deep inner peace.
