Good morning.

Welcome to this day.

Notice your body in your bed.

Luxuriate in the feeling of your limbs against the covers.

Register this as a pleasurable sensation and soak that in.

Place one hand on your heart and the other at your lower belly.

Assume a slight smile.

Place the arch of one foot on top of the other foot.

Feel your feet both supported and cradling.

Drop into the sense of support and contact.

You may wish to hold this supportive posture or release to a more comfortable position.

Sense your body resting.

Scan your body from top to toe and if you notice any areas of tension or tightness,

Gently and with kindness,

Let them soften.

You may wish to check into these spots through your day.

Observe both your internal sensations.

You may feel fullness in your bladder and external physical senses such as temperature,

Position,

Pressure as you scan your body.

Now be with your breath and notice the natural rhythm and tide of your easy breath.

Place attention on your heart area and imagine breathing in and out from here.

Gather a sense of gratefulness for waking safe in this space today.

Grateful for breath,

Life force energy,

For simply being.

If this gratefulness fades,

Revamp it.

Thank you.

Send it like a wave to your whole body.

Thank you body.

Keep your heart space breath going as you absorb these words.

Today may I be well and calm,

Happy and peaceful and may I notice opportunity to share joy with others.

Imagine being cocooned in a light of safety and ease.

See this soft light expanding out from your body.

Hold the intention that today you will offer your best self to the world.

Trust that life will serve you well today.

Open your eyes,

Take in a deeper breath and release and take this sensation and emotion with you into your day.
