This is a gratitude meditation.

It's wonderful that you're here with me.

Pay attention to your breath.

How does it feel?

Cool as you inhale.

Warm as you exhale.

What moves as you breathe?

How does your chest expand?

What about your abdomen?

How does it feel?

Guide your breath to your heart.

Try to breathe deeply into your heart and relax it.

Hold your breath.

And exhale slowly,

Releasing all tension.

Once again,

Take a deep breath.

Hold it.

And let everything go as you exhale.

One more time,

Breathe deeply.

Hold your breath.

And exhale slowly.

Move deeper into relaxation.

And feel your heart beating calmly at your center.

Tell your heart that you are grateful and happy to feel it beating.

Smile lovingly at your heart.

Now,

Let everything you can be grateful for appear before your inner eye.

Be grateful for your body,

Which has carried you through life to this day.

In everyday life and in sports.

It is your home,

It cares for you and functions just for you.

You have only one body,

So make friends with it.

It does everything to keep you alive.

Protects you.

And carries you out into the world.

It is the temple of your soul and takes good care of it.

Be grateful for every breath,

Which reliably provides you with oxygen and energizes you.

Be grateful for all the big and small successes in your life.

And for the ability to make your own decisions.

Be grateful for the people around you.

Your favorite people.

Who love,

Support and accompany you on your journey.

Be grateful for your family.

Your friends.

And all those who gift you a smile.

Be grateful for the animals that accompany you in your life,

In whatever form.

Be grateful for nature.

For the green of the leaves.

The blue of the sky.

The wind on your body.

The colors of the flowers.

And the taste of freshly cut grass.

Be grateful for the scent of the earth.

And the wood in the forest.

Be grateful for sunshine or fresh rain.

Be grateful for the food you are able to choose and enjoy.

Be grateful for the environment you live in.

Be grateful for the opportunities in your life.

The good ones that bring joy.

And the challenging ones that offer you a chance to learn,

Grow and change.

Be grateful for the power to take charge of your own life.

Grateful for the freedom to choose,

If you only decide to.

Grateful for the courage to make decisions.

Be grateful for your ability to let go at the right moment.

Grateful for your capacity to change and the openness to recognize where this helps you move forward.

Grateful for the strength to forgive.

Grateful for the courage to apologize and for the grace when that apology is accepted.

Be grateful that you are learning to love and honor yourself more and more.

With all your strengths and weaknesses.

To fully embrace yourself and in doing so,

Become more independent.

Grateful that you know and feel the sensation of love.

Be grateful that you are increasingly focusing on the positive aspects of your life.

Feeling the joy in your heart grow as a result.

Be grateful for your ability to love and to feel that love.

Say to yourself three times,

As I am,

So it must be.

And just like this,

It's perfect.
